Girls def care more (in general) about height AINEC. It's so unfair that you tallbros have such an advantage in an area that we can't do anything about. I have to speak out for the ladies a bit here. My wife is 5'8" which is above average for a woman. It was in no way hard for her to find dudes taller than her (which she prefers) but lots of guys don't like girls who are even anywhere close to their height. I know girls taller than her that are pretty hot that have trouble finding dates because guys don't feel tall enough around them.

I once dated a girl the same height as me (6'0") and I thought it was fine. I think her husband might be shorter than her, but he seems like a good dude and OK with it. She does not seem to care. She occaisonally ribbed me about not being taller than her but we were young and immature.

It's been discussed ad nauseum in SL, consensus is that if you are sub 6 feet without amazing looks you are at a significant disadvantage to your taller brethren.
