i deadlifted like 235-250, i forget the exact amount, with one arm, standing on one leg, i thought that was pretty awesome. probably has zero purpose and wouldn't do it regularly but it was kind of fun.

what do you DL with 2 arms/legs?
04-14-2010 , 03:21 PM

The double down was decent. $5 for the sandwich is a little steep though since it's not super filling. Maybe I'm just really accustomed to super fatty foods though and it would make a normal person full. I'd still like to try the grilled version though.

I got the sauce and thought it was decent. I added a bit of ketchup on the bites around the perimeter that were lacking and cheese or sauce though.

I grabbed some greek yogurt today - avoided the fage and got chobani with raspberries. 14/22/0 cuz of the raspberries, but it's pretty tasty. The texture is nice. I don't notice any aftertaste - when I try to get a bit of it sans raspberries it just seems thicker than normal yogurt, maybe a slight cheesy/pseudofeta taste which is good. According to the website the plain greek yogurt is 18/7/0 for a 6oz container.

My parrot likes it so much he keeps climbing off his perch to get it, but he's a sucker for all things dairy. Letting him lick off the empty cup now.

An exciting night in the life of kitaristi0: I have listened to R Kelly's "Ignition (Remix)" 53 times in a row tonight, currently going for 54. I defy you to name a better US or UK chart-topping single from the last ten years.

r kelly is the very definition of an idiot savant. he has also made about 50 versions of the same song(ignition, fiesta, etc) but guess what, they are all pretty good, coupled with the fact that he is functionally illiterate, make him the greatest.
04-14-2010 , 05:27 PM
Hating on that type of individual for being functionally illiterate is like hating on sexy pronz stars for having gaping vaja.

so my i guess my family really has disowned me after all. havent spoken to my dad in two months, spoke to my mom today and it ended in an argument/momtears like always. just a mess. i might be more mature than my parents now. sick.

you know how some people have moms that they're able to talk to and get sane, logical input from? mine just gets hysterical and starts crying and asks me questions like "why are you doing this to us" - awesome projection of your emotions mom. the thing is when she says stuff like that, its usually in response to stuff i say like "my only goal in life is to be happy". that time she responded "HAPPY?! your only goal in life is to be happy? i cant be like that. we have to work." lol.

He expresses himself poorly, but the idea is fine. He's trying to find self-actualization without needing a career, which some people think it is absurd because it eschews the common path. People don't understand that almost everyone works for money (Why else would the retire?!? Why do the independently wealthy not ****ing slave in a cubicle... etc) and instead try to use work a medium for what they can't derive through more appropriate avenues.

Why did they disown you? Because you make enough playing poker so you don't have to grind it out in life in some suck job? Or do they not respect the amount you can lift?

Meh.

Also I could name loads. Even though the charts are generally an abomination.

im not suggesting he needs to get himself a traditional job (although i am concluding more and more that if your goal is to be happy, poker is best left as a profitable hobby, but maybe this is not true for everyone), just that it sounds like he is only looking out for number one, and it is understandable to be upset if your kid is this way.

of course i could be totally misreading his situation.

Nation in Indian. Just based on the little I know about Nation from his blog posts I can deduce that nothing about how he lives his life or his viewpoints on life are acceptable to his parents, or any other Indian parents for that matter.
