Squat: 225x5
Bench Press: 185x5
Dips: +45x5x3
Pullups: BWx8x3
Shrugz: 185x10x3
Bicep Curlz: 45x12x3

Stil taking it relatively easy, trying to keep hamstring together to be fit for football and working up on the other things.

October 2nd: Volume

Squat: 275x5x3
Press: 115x5x3
Cable Row: 195x5x3
Bicep Curlz: 45x23 PR

Squats were ****ing hard, i must have caught soulmanitis or something.

Crushed football on sunday, 4-1 win and 7-1. General play is still getting better, but missed an open goal. Scored a couple so I don't feel too bad.

So i have high cholesterol. Results from my recent bloodwork (normal ranges in parentheses):

Trigylcerides: 66mg/dL (>150)
Total cholesterol: 233mg/dL (125-200)
HDL cholesterol: 54mg/dL (>40)
LDL cholesterol: 166mg/dL (<130)
CHOL/HDLC Ratio: 4.3 (<5.0)
Non-HDL cholesterol: 179mg/dL

Note in the results was to lower fat in diet and exercise, and if I already have a low fat diet and exercise to consider going on statins. Off to do some research!

Anyone with any good info or experience I'd be all ears.

October 5th: Intensity

Squat: 315x5
Press: 127.5x5
Push Press: 135x1, 145x1, 155x1
Rack Pull: 315x5
Pull ups: BWx8,8,6

Squats and press were a grind, was mucking around with push presses while my buddy was finishing squats. Rack pulled because deadlifting from the floor with the square plates tilts me. Bar was about 4" below knee, will probably continue these for a bit.

Glad to be back lifting heavy stuff properly.

My numbers were similar. Went on a statin after trying to get it down other ways for about two years, but I'm not willing to go on a starvation diet.

Mine was 330 in the beginning of the year. Obviously added a buttload of exercise this year. Might not even matter but hopefully results are closer to Aidan's (I would be ecstatic). I am going to go next week to check it out.

The China study will say that its all the animal protein we eat. More plants bro.

No. But obviously I will have to if the results come back too high. I was hoping lots of exercise and some running would get me back to below 200.

Problem I have with most Dr.s is that they always prescribe to the symptom but never look at underlying cause.

I would look at diet first.

Absolutely agree with you, BPA. If i can get it moving in the right direction in six months then i will keep working to get it down without the drugs.

I'd love to be an olytard, the clean and jerks were fun. Pretty comfortable at that weight. Bench was hard, squats were pretty good and cable row to feel that pump.

Pull ups: BWx9,8,8
Farmer's Walk: 80's for four trips of ~40yds

Weighing in at 162.x lbs, but not really all that lean. Time to start thinking about plans going forward, trying to put on weight again. Need to make a plan as Im just drifting diet-wise, need to focus on one thing or the other.

the standard cholesterol test doesn't tell you the whole story. particle size and number of particles matter.

Another good day. Squats felt fun, clean and jerks were good put triceps started to get wobbly after the press so slowed down. Weighed in at 166.6lbs this morning.

I lose front squats a little bit forward at the bottom. Need to investigate cause.

Prettay prettay good. Knee is feeling great, starting to get back towards where I was pre-strain. Disappointed not to be at the meet with Saw and KC, but seem to be heading in the right direction. Must remember to take some pics this weekend and do some measurements, now that I am hoping to gain a bit more weight. A state of the nation, if you will.

Clean and Jerk: up to 160 for three singles (PR!)
Cable Row: 180x9x3

Pretty beat after playing two playoff games of soccer yesterday (was the penalty shootout hero, saving one and scoring the winning one ). Took long rests but got everything done. Weighing ~165lbs at the moment in the am. Did some measurements over the weekend, and not much has changed since july, except added 3.5cm to my chest circumference. Time to gain some slow weight, try and get the upper lifts going and getting a bit more volume/aesthetic volume in whilst making slow progress on squats and deads. Time to up the (food) dose!
