kpc, how is austin as a place to live? i should go visit. i've had two friends from nyc visit in the past year and each said it was lots of hippies but with cowboy hats and everything was very spread out. but they loved the weather and they said it's pretty cheap to live there. i'm intrigued.

I work at a university. This is pretty much the winter "uniform" for all the undergrads (specifically black tights and ugg boots).

In a month or so the tights will come off and the boots will be traded in for flip flops.

i think we mean high heeled knee/calf high type boots though, boots without heels = why? imo

Maybe the ugg boots are the casual walking around school outfit and the heels come on for going out at night? To be honest, I spent most of my college years playing video games and online poker, so never really got to understand the motivations of college girls very well.

I like the tights + skirt outfit a lot because I hated the extremely tight jeans with chucks look so badly. Gives a fat ass to 85 % of the female population. Shortish skirts always look kinda sweet.
