close grip bench isn't that close. it's like shoulder width grip give or take. bar should touch higher than standard bench. focus should be on triceps.

Something like that, I think I have my long finger right where the smooth ends/knurling starts. I think I have seen people do smith machine bench with the super tight grip, those guys were probably clueless though

It's all that hammer strength gear. The bench presses are actually kinda sh*t because they only have three height settings and the highest one isn't high enough for me to unrack a bench properly...

...it's probably fine for you t-rexes though

I'm like 181-182cm... So basically right on 6 Ameritard hight units... but nfi what my wingspan is... I think once I measured it and it was the same as my height... I tend to be pretty normal. Maybe I'll measure it when I get home.

That was hard.

I gayed up my deadlift. Thought I could pull 3x145 with no straps, only got 2, reset, did 3 more, felt **** for the last set. Waaambulance.

Also, I must look like one I of those guys who starts at a new gym and goes too hard for 3 sessions then quits. I was f*cking drenched in sweat. Never lifted hard with no air-con.

Should have been doing 92.5kg for bench... but keep forgetting to bring 1.25kg plates. >_< ...that said, I was kinda happy with 8x90kg... I hope these new bars really are 20kg.

Did cg bench with index fingers just inside the knurling.

Also practiced holding myself up on the rings. Can do about 10s... but lots of shaking.

Kinda bitched out on my squats. Had 1 or 2 more to give. The 5x10s felt easier this week. Maybe 'cause I bitched out on my main set or maybe just 'cause I'm awesome.

Soooo... I was supposed to press 57.5, but still no 1.25s. Wotevs. Was actually kind of happy/surprised to get 10x55. May have even been able to grind out an 11th.

Was watching the world weightlifting champs and thought "f*ck my wrist. I'm going to clean". No real pain while doing it, slight pain afterwoods. Fairly happy to hit 85. Bars at this gym are so nice to clean with compared to what I have used in the past.

I only need to add about 50% to my clean (and then figure out how to jerk it) and probably double my snatch (which I haven't done in 12 months). I'm a lock for gold imo.
