It's sort of like college football to start.

"The overtime starts with competitor A choosing one of two dominate positions; back control with hooks and seat belt grip or top arm bar position with competitor B holding a padlock defense. Competitor A is working for the submission while competitor B is working to escape the dominant position. There is no time limit and once there is a sub or escape, the competitors will alternate positions and competitor B will then get to choose back or arm bar position. If one competitor gets the sub, then that person will be the winner. If both get the submission or neither gets the submission, they will repeat it again for 3 rounds. If after 3 rounds, they are still in a stalemate, a winner will be determined based on the combined escape time from all 3 rounds, with the competitor who took less time to escape being declared the winner."

i think this fight is a flip of the coin to see who won 1st. tough to win a round though when youre running away the whole time and nobody is really landing, think barnatt wins but the other guy "won"

Whenever a round is close like that and you got a hometown boy fighting... always go with the home town boy. Pretty standard.

Also I think Narvice landed the better shots in the 1st for sure. His strikes clearly had much more power on them than Barnetts

Decision was correct, though like you said rd 1 was boring/close enough it could've gone the other way.

Checked like 5 play by plays and all of them gave Narvaez the fight.

psh when theres like ten total strikes landed i think they usually just default the first to barnatt cause of octagon control. judges love them some octagon control
