I predict Swedish death metal level alcohol poisoning during 4 am ME match. I am super pumped for the card and they better give those mother ****ers a million dollars. This is an insane fight. I will be so sad if gus loses. Best would be gus by decision and then Johnson sweeps three and fights for the title in 2016.

Great fight. Wonder if Jacare can keep Romero down. Im leaning towards Romero on this one since its a 3 round fight.

UFC 184 is looking stacked. Definitely going to attend since its at staples. This will be my first UFC event so any recommendations on where to sit for the best view?

I can't see Romero being a favorite at all in this even though I love him. He's gassed more than a few times and was basically losing to Brunson before catching him big. Jacare has sick cardio, is probably the best grappler at 185 (maybe even in UFC actively) and is now knocking people out. This is a terrible matchup for Yoel, IMO.

The only thing I like is that Yoel seems to love to throw guys down and then let tehm back up. That will kill time and score points.

Romero was easily getting beat by Brunson 2-0 in rounds, and essentially got knocked out by Tim Kennedy.

Jacare should besmirch him standing. Romero is super fast and hits like a tank, but his defense sucks and he's very hittable.

I expect Jacare to open up at like -200 at the very least

I thought that Kennedy was a very bad matchup for Romero but he got demolished the majority of the fight. He still has horrible game plans and gasses too early but I see him improving every fight. Should be a close fight imo

Jojo with the sweetest sounding "theres no need to boo" lol. Cant call yourself scrapets or whatever if you lose like every fight.

Yea you can clearly see JoJo has been as bad with the bullying as anyone else, they just don't show it. But when they have their lil talks you can so JoJo is all about it.

Pretty shocked the last fight didn't go to a 3rd round.

Oh yeah. The 11/17 announcement. I'm thinking it'll be like what you're saying. Usually, it's days or maybe a week before most announcements, but this one was mentioned quite awhile ago. I wouldn't think it's something truly huge without something having been leaked yet. So, yeah, it's probably that.

Anyone think that the UFC will ever start including PPV's on fightpass. They have said that PPV's only account for like 30% of their revenue. I think they could get 500,000 subscribers easy if its priced around 20 a month. At that rate it would be the same as selling 4 million PPV's a year. I wonder if their deal with cable/satellite companies will allow them to do that. They already split half the PPV revenue with them.

Looked it up and it says that WWE network has a little over than 700k subscribers. Thats a decent number considering that a huge portion of their fan base are kids that probably have to ask their parents to get it

I think the UFC can probably reach that number based on what PPV buys they get now. I was shocked that the recent TJ fight did more than 100k. Wish they would consider it but who knows what the costs would be to run it like this. Would be way more convenient and would also drive down people streaming it instead of paying close to 60 bucks for a ****ty card.

Keep in mind that's only $10 a month, so $7 million total. Which at $60 PPV's, you make in roughly 230k ppvs. That's having already factored in cable companies taking half. Not to mention the half the cable company gets, gets them constant free advertising over tons of different channels.

So yea, I wouldn't expect to see it anytime soon.

Agree it would be awesome. I already really enjoy fightpass.
