Anyone else watching the stream on Euro Sport 2? The commentary is laughably horrible... a single English guy with next to no knowledge of MMA... especially grappling.

Guessing most of the mma regs don't know 2+2 is back online. Barnett got worked hard and just got shut down. Nothing in SF Cormier so off to UFC for him I guess. Where would you rank him in the HW devision?

really dont mind cormiers taking the last 12 seconds of rounds against the fence for an extra break, or his mind tricks, or the hands on barnett for extra time on the standup, but taking the 5th round like that just cuz ur up is so gay.

Yeah looked pathetic running around like that. I realize it's the smart thing to do but meh.

I think Cormier can beat some of the top10 and lose badly to other top10s.

Jds, Overeem, Cain (but probably wont fight?) would probably tool him right now.
Mir, Carwin and Werdum are good fights but i slightly favor Cormier.
Nogueira, bigfoot he beats.

Hunt destroys Cormier.

im surprised barnett was able to land on cormier such hard shots. But thats nothing against cormier.

He was simply amazing wow.

he'll never be champ at 5'10 tho evne if he might be the best "p4p" heavyweight in skills

I don't think hes better than Cain in pretty much any way. Wrestling? Maybe, but for mma cains wrestling looks stellar.

Cormier is good though. Sucks that he cant cut weight and fight at an appropriate weight.

Cormier has the best wrestling at HW no debate. He is putting things together at a insane pace. I didn't get to watch yet but it sounds like Josh brought it at least and went 5 hard rounds so no shame in that.

i got DC top 3-4 after watching this fight . Barnett came in shape. looked good and is prob top 6-7 HW in his own regard . cormier was just that much better than him .

I never joke about Hunt.

It's not as easy as translating pure wrestling to mma wrestling. Cormier may have the ability to get Cain down regularly but i somehow doubt it from what we've seen so far from both guys. Also remember that Cormier wrestled approx 50-60lbs below the guys Cain wrestled.
"Big favorite", alright. Somehow i doubt it. Depends what you mean by big favorite i guess.

And if Cormier can get Cain down he can get jds down easier. So is Cormier the best heavyweight out there right now?

Cain/Cormier would probably stay standing.

Cormier probably gets the next shot at the belt regardless of what happens with the Cain fight. I don't think he would be able to keep JDS down.

cormier is like the perfect guy to root for, the most talented heavyweight in the world but will be coming in to every fight with a large physical disadvantage because of his height.

plus the way he strikes is really entertaining to watch, especially for someone so new at it who is only going to get better.

How on earth does Hunt destroy Cormier? black-fedor dumps Hunt on his head in about 20 seconds and murderates him on the ground.

I think Cain, assuming he is healed fully and 100%, is a slight favorite against cormier. Cormier is a better wrestler but Cain is probably close enough to be able to neutralize and keep it standing, where he can win.

i think cain healthy is quicker than dc and prob a better striker so ill give him the advantage . but i think the worst matchup for dc is prob werdum ...not sure if he wants to be in werdums guard and i think werdum is a better striker at this point .

Werdum is interesting but in his defense he just showed he doesn't care about not taking risks to get the win (agree the running in the end was too much)so maybe some late takedowns and not taking any risks at all in the guard is a pretty legit way to victory?
