Cain Mir is nice and is basically a title eliminator.

Bigfoot vs Big country could be Roy's ticket out of the UFC. If he loses that, he's lost 4 out of 5 (and 6 of his last 9). It would all be good fighters, but that's still a very rough stretch.

that was over three years ago in a split decision. I think if they fought now nate would win. that would be a pretty good fight to see in the near future and give nate a chance to avenge his loss as well as give guida a sniff at title contention.

Dunno, Nate hasn't really shown much improvement in the area in which Guida beat him, which is teh smother.

Nate's striking has gotten better, and I'm sure so has his subs. But so has Guida's sub defense and top game.

So while Nate is much better, haven't seen anything since that fight that makes me think he can stop good top game players.

The funny thing about that is.... you should shut your whore mouth.

Guida is a sick hero. He's not very skilled. Probably the least talented guy in the top 20. He get's by on pure determination and heart and by just coming at bro's 120 MPH. I love it.

Yeah beat me to it. Apparently when I ask a silly hypothetical out of curiosity and boredom because there's no fighting it turns in to an OOT discussion.

Apparently some 2p2er has cardio that's at least as good as the average UFC fighter.

I know, but almost all of Nick or Nates losses to wrestlers are " close fights " because how active they're on the bottom.

Thing is though, yes the fights will be close but they will still lose them 99% of the time. Judges award the fighter on top and that's just the way it goes.

If someone can consistently take down nick/nate and avoid the sub/sweep they're going to win a huge percentage of the time. Neither are one punch finishers, and rely on you standing and banging for long periods of time on the feet to hurt you and then still not be able to get the TD to finish you.

I know its almost like an MMA meme but, Bendo-Guida?
Eventho that had more to do with Bendo than Guida pbb, was a great fight.

Really wanna go to vegas early again for UFC 146.Hopefully no injuries this time (gg ufc130, flying a week early for what turned out later to be... Rampage/Hamill and Mir/Nelson.)

Someone needs to ask DBLBJ what he thinks his chances vs lesnar are before he gets too deep and realizes his chances are non-existent. It should have been done at that first post but whatever.
