Man, what an anti-climatic ending to the Bellator heavyweight finale. I was really looking forward to that fight, too. Also, awful decision in Nover fight. And ****ty stoppage in Batman/Pitbull fight.

"Anti-climatic" lol npun! Don't think we missed much, looked like both of those guys would have been gassed halfway through rd 2 anyway. Bizarre finish no doubt. What happened in the Pellegrino fight? I saw he was pissed after but thought he lost anyway?

He protested the stoppage, but wasn't pissed. He handled it very well and seemed fine to retire again.

I really don't think Prindle/Santos would've lasted much longer than R2 anyway. Those dudes hit HARD.

Pellegrino was on Ronallo's show this week and sounded all BJ Penn, talking about his daughter and spending more time etc. He was ready to go. Losing was a fine excuse.

Rick Story posts his rebuttal on sherdog. IMO he only succeeds in digging his grave deeper, and a lot of what he posts is ridiculous and is ripped apart in the following posts. That is just my opinion though, obviously.

Good decision win for Pudzian last night. Thompson largely negated Pudzian's devastating power with an L&P approach but was badly battered by Pudzian's furious fists in brief standup and ground exchanges. Pudzian showed notable improvement in his escapes and defense on the ground and once again rocked Thompson in the standup, eventually winning the fight on total damage. I'd like to see a close to this trilogy down the line. Pudzian is going to need to continue working on his wrestling and ground game if he wants to make it to the top level.

Pretty sure he retired when he left the UFC. He came out of retirement to fight in Bellator. Not surprised to hear him sound like this. Wonder if he needed the money.
