I'm thinking of buying a box of cigars or two. I've never ordered online before. Anyone know of a site with good deals?

dont care about the booze but those cigars are amazeballs. If you want to try their only competition at that level cigar try the OPUS X. But both are awesome.

What are they?

The ones in the pic MSchu posted are these http://www.thompsoncigar.com/product...ategoryId=9833.

They are basically as good as it gets, them or OPUS X's, best 2 smokes I've had.

yes sir... the 80th padron is the tops in my book. My personal favorite smoke.

much of the padron line is good or great, but the 80th stands alone to me.

This list is pretty fair. Expect to pay ~$20 / stick for cigars worth gifting.

Is the person a cigar smoker? If so he probably smokes cubans. If so get him what he regularly smokes. If you need help sourcing some, PM me.

Look up smoke shops or cigar shops on yelp, Google, map service. Any place that has a walk in humidor will be pretty safe guarantee that the cigars are in good shape. Do buy too far ahead of time - or else you will need to keep them humid. You should be fine for a couple of days, but anything longer than a week they can dry out.

Thanks. How about duty free?

Plus - talk to the person at the cigar store, most are very knowledgeable and helpful (*if it is a cigar store first and foremost). Again, the threshold I would weight heavily is if the place has a walk in humidor.

Not sure - I have never checked out cigars at those shops. But in general, you are running a risk of neglected product in any "we also have cigars" place.

Basically - don't try to save $2 on a cigar... too often you save $2 at the cost of a good product.

Some of those on the list I sent are just ~$10.. save by buying those. There are a lot of really good smokes at $10 too.

If it is a matter of convenience - getting to the shop... then I get your conundrum.
