I lost all faith in the show when Tamyra Gray - by FAR the best singer in the bunch - was voted off 4th in season 1.
Since when is Gray FAR better at singing than Kelly Clarkson? Kelly's pretty good and has made a solid career out of it. Granted. Gray is very good, but she's at best equal to or slightly worse than Clarkson, and even if we were generous and called her slightly better, this sounds a bit like hyperbole no?
