This is what's great about open mic nights. You might see anything up there. 95% will be hacky garbage but that other 5% can be special. Also this is the most badass suicide method I've ever heard of. He stabbed himself to death in the chest. Usually that would be a "cry for help" but this guy wasn't ****ing around.

I'm serious about open mic nights being a great opportunity to see some crazy ****. You have to sit through a lot of bad, unoriginal, awkwardly delivered jokes to get there (and occasionally someone with actual talent). But usually the highlight is when the crazy guy steps up and you literally have no idea what's going to happen. This being an extreme example but open mics bring these people out. Five minutes in front of an audience, they can't get that anywhere else and their very important message from Mars must be heard.
