Ya i think she was just referring to her boy toy being tall and skinny not actually his dick, than maybe halfway through realized, but tried to act allhigh and mighty like she is too good to think what she said was hilarious.

^ the wording of "long stabby thing" has you confused. They're talking about something they use to protect them from intruders. She was saying that her husband is what she uses to protect her.

The other women gets the joke (that the men are laughing at because the blond is oblivious) but she's trying to play it off cool to which the blond replies "you're hearing me".

wtf you guys. Of course I know they are talking about something to protect themselves from intruders. But as soon as he says "long stabby thing" everyone in the room starts snickering bc they are all thinking about the dick jokes.

If she wasn't making a dick/dildo joke why would she bring up the "Olypmpic torch" under her bed? Do you really just think she randomly has some Olympic torch under her bed that she uses as a weapon? Or do you think she's making a dildo joke, which is why she pauses, comedically, before saying "...when I was single."

Hmm I was positive the blond really had no idea what she was saying until the other girl said 'multitude of uses' and she tried to cover it up with 'thanks liz you're hearing me' but now i'm not so sure.

When she says she had the Olympic torch when she was single she just simply means that she didn't have her husband to protect so she had some sort of blunt object... she wasn't purposely making jokes. Also the multiple uses comment is just the other women trying to say that her husband can do more than just fix things around the house, pay bills etc.

Apparently 'Olympic Torch' is common slang for 'dildo' in Australia (something about all athletes want to come first) and there have been a lot of jokes about the 2010 Olympic Torch resembling a dildo.

Also, the blond reporter is known for her deadpan humor.

I've always admired people who can stay completely deadpan while cracking up everyone in a room with a hilarious joke. It's a telltale sign of someone who is truly funny. I personally only know a few people who can do this.

i have not ever heard this.

as for the clip i'm undecided if she knew what she was saying. pretty sure you wouldnt refer to your dildo on a breakfast talk show if it really was such common vernacular.
