They probably just bought a ticket for the next drawing and then took a pic where you couldn't see the date on the old numbers =\

Georgia lottery fantasy 5 and those were the numbers on nov 3 2013, same date as the ticket . Pic has Fort Valley written small in the corner and that's Georgia

is there any reason being one number off is especially significant? if not i dont really see the big deal, other than it being kinda "heh".

Checked as well. Ticket time is hours before the draw time as well.

haven't you seen the thousands of threads on this site called "what are the odds of the board running out all hearts 3 hands in a row" or similar that begin with an amazed poster describing the most amazing thing he's ever seen and looking for validation of how incredible it was.

they are greeted with scorn because even if the odds of this 1 particular event are extremely low, that analysis neglects the extraordinarily large number of events that could have happened that would have been equally amazing, making the occurrence of amazing events commonplace.
