Anyone else checked the previews our yet for this game? Looks pretty damn sick imo. Its an action RPG, based in some ancient Norse mythology.

IGN has some vids and picks.

Also, the game will have 2 player co-op via Live.

When it was a PSX game.

If it comes out August 19th I will probably buy it though.

Yeah, I'm excited as well. I created a thread long ago which just got hammered with hated (deservingly so) . . .

Hopefully, its actually released in August.

MS did not buy the game, they bought the developer. Nintendo dropped them from their 2nd party line up and MS bought them the next year.

why did it get hated on? I saw some vids on ign showing the gameplay, its look tight.

Well I think people are very reluctant about it. For one thing it was originally for like PS1....then N64....then Xbox? or GC? I might have some details mixed up, but it has been in development for FOREVER. I think IGN has the whole story somewhere if you want it.

It was either last year or two years ago (I really can't remember) that it was in playable form at E3 or something and it got slammed by all the press for sucking.

So I think people are just a little hesitant to get excited about it. I'm looking forward to it, but merely in a curiosity sense right now. I won't buy it until I'm convinced it is a great game by reviewers.

Definitely looking forward to this. I'm hoping it's alot like a more polished Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom. On the [very pleasant] downside, I'm so ****ing backed up on games already. I won't even be picking up Ninja Gaiden 2 tommorow. /off topic

I was at Gamestop this weekend buying Zack and Wiki for $20 (wooo wooo!) and while I was waiting for this annoying lady to decide what games she would spoil her kid for, and get the clerk to call another store and hold a used version for her cheap ass, the TV there had an interview with Dennis Dyack, and one of the questions was about the release date, and he said TBD....that interview could be between 0 and 10 years old.

heh, IGN has a release date for this, as does the wiki page. One of the videos on ign has people playing the actual game. I mean, I guess it won't get released when they say now.......
