Thief: Parts I and II Thief: Parts I and II

I have brought back a game I haven't played in a long time and vaguely remembered playing a long time ago on PC: Thief.

I have it for X-box and play it on my 360 and it is pretty rad. I got introduced to the Thief series on the PC a while back and played it on my buddy's comp while on shrooms. It was a pretty awesome game.

The XBOX version doesn't dissapoint, but there are some things that I remember from playing on the PC version that I wanted to rehash, plus I never passed the game.

So, my question is: If I go and get Thief I and II for my PC, will I have to install a graphics card or whatever, or will I be able to just put it in and play? I have a nVidia Geforce 6100 GPU built into my mediocre PC.

Also if you want to make some random comment about how badass the Thief series is, which one is your favorite, etc. - please do.

your system will run it fine, taffer.

one of my favorite games of all time. the first 2 stories were awesome.

i wasn't a big fan of the 3rd one, since, as yahtzee croshaw from zero punctuation would say, it was dumbed down for the console tards.

They are too old to run on even mediocre pcs without some "tweaking" i.e. PITA stuff

I really enjoyed Deadly Shadows for a while, stealth stuff in a dank atmosphere, until I was in some cave with those creature of the lagoon guys and the exit literally vanished, trapping me inside forever

I was gooning around in that cave for HOURS looking for another way out and there just wasn't one, apparently it was a pretty common bug in the game.
