yeah it does seem fake. Blizzard wouldn't only upload it to youtube, and not their site / other popular gamesites. Also the alias BlizzEntertainment looks like they were obviously trying to trick people.

I'm doing an experiment on youtube for a class I'm taking.
I've posted a fake trailer that claims to show the viewer the official Starcraft 2 release date. I posted it last night, and I have one week to see what happens. It should be fun to watch it develop.
If you feel like playing along, comment on it, or go post it somewhere and see if we can make it go viral.
If you really wanted this to succeed, you should not have used something that is so easily verifiable as being fake. I didn't watch the video; but if you don't already have a comment stating that Blizzard's site shows nothing and this is probably fake, you will shortly.
Edit: just looked at the comments..lol. Good luck on that grade if your assignment was to get something to go viral.
The goal is simply to get the most amount of hits. I realize the video is easy to spot as a fake for anyone who has been following the production of Starcraft 2.
My theory is that the content doesn't matter as much as generating controversy. And, if I can trick just a few people into believing it for long enough to tell their friends, so much the better. Anyway, we'll see if my theory holds true or not.
