Remember when Terrans could just do old fashioned hellion drops? I miss those days. Now if it can't wipe out an entire mineral line (see: widow mines, hellbats, oracles, soon to be 1gas cloaked banshees) it just isn't worth it, apparently.
******-mode blizzard as usual... They can't just do slight adjustments with these patches, they have to put their foot on the gas every single time. 100/100 for cloak? LOL. You'd be ******ed to make a banshee and not get cloaking.
We'll see what makes it into the official release before I facepalm any harder...
Actually I kinda want to go play this map and **** around until I find a double proxy starport cloaked banshee build. Double gas first -> rax -> proxy factory -> starportx2, tech lab -> 2nd tech lab, start cloak -> double banshee production one time?!?
The banshee thing won't end up as it is. Like the warp prism buff they will realise how ridiculous it is. I agree with them never being subtle with these buffs or nerfs. Like queen range from 3 to 5. Why not try 4????

They literally didn't. There was a test map where queens got 50 energy to start with. They decided this wasn't working so they changed the test map to have queens with 5 range from 3. Next patch they went with it.
Game 1: villain goes forge first in main, which is the most obvious I'm-going-to-cannon-rush-you opening ever. I make 6 lings when my 14 pool finishes, sure enough he tries to cannon, isn't even close to working. I use my lings to delay his expo, get way ahead, he tries to go dark shrine but I've fortunately gotten in the habit of making overseers anytime I get ahead of a Protoss because they all do the same ****. I win.
Game 2: villain plays normal. There was a point where I probably had the game won but turned around prematurely cause he had a couple colossi pop - supplies 138-84 in my favor, I'm on 4 bases to 2. When you're ahead get more ahead, should be ez win for me right? Well only if you don't suck. There comes a point in the game where he takes a 3rd, I'm still on 4th, he gets lots of colossi, we fight, and this is the aftermath:
His ENTIRE ARMY is eight colossi. I could throw my entire army away at his doorstep, hold the 'T' key to remax, and it's LOL protoss.
If, that is, I actually had a spire.
Instead this pic was taken after I spent 1000 gas to remax on ultras. I take a bad engagement when my army is caught out of position, lose everything, remax, lose again to a bunch of archons + colossi, game over. Epic throw. I hate this game sometimes.
Game 3: same opponent from game 1. He opens forge in main AGAIN. This time I sent my drone early and found his probe and attacked it, which is probably a bad idea since I could have just made 6 lings when my pool finished to stop any rush and he'd be way behind and I'd have my natural down sooner...although this was on whirlwind where I think he can have an easier time blocking off cannons with pylons. Anyway I take my third and use my lings to delay his expansion and force him to cancel his nexus twice. He's ******ed and can't get a new pylon + cannon down in range of his first cannon on the high ground to protect his nexus, lol. He follows up with dark shrine again, this time catches me off guard (embarrassing) and kills a base + a lot of drones before I recover. I kill his third and go into roach-hydra-swarm host and the locusts wear him down to the point that he can't take my army.
Game 4: villain opens forge first FFE and tries to cannon my natural. My first 2 lings scout it and I pull some drones to kill the pylons just in time. I counter with my lings and get into his main and delay mining for a really long time. He tries a 2 base blink stalker all in, fails miserably.
Cliffs: Protoss like to cannon rush, are generally a bunch of ******s, I'm bad
