Yeah it's actually really rare to see big bioballs anymore ZvT. Much more thor/hellion/bansee play.

So I'm playing random 2s and I roll CellaWerra as a teammate. He doesn't even try. He just trolls me lol.

Totally standard 17 gate opening :P He must have been drunk if that was really him.

He was playing another game after in which he was on the 1 side of a 1v2 and he did fine. I think he was just bored or something. Seems like he enjoys the attention on his stream.

He always screws around in 2v2. He'll pretend like he doesn't know how to play the game if the person doesn't know who he is.

edit: even more lols: Just checked out this guys match history/build orders and he's been proxy hatching every game. 1450 diamond too.

guess I'm gonna start having to do a little scout in base for proxy hatch.

there was a thread on TL about some proxy hatch all-in roach strat posted recently. cranks out about 10 roaches iirc.

Brag: Saw my first SC2 live tournament today at Blizzcon. Also shook hands with Tastetosis[9] and got a picture with the former 2.
Beat: Only managed to see 4 matches out of probably 6-7.
Variance: Wait time was short for some games, and super long for others (1hr+) because they tried to add in videos that didn't work and they also had to change the language settings from English to Korean for some players.


Highlight series that I saw that I would recommend:

Demuslim vs. Maka
SlayersBoxer vs. FruitDealer (not just cuz god of sc1 vs god of sc2 -- it was legit awesome and it was very very clear that they both have micro skills that are just far better than any other players)

Variance: Hooking up for Karak means holding hands.

Found a use for the reaper !

Basically base traded with toss he rushed dt's i killed everything except a pylon on the other end of the map. I floated my orbital and 3 racks with no minerals....things just stood still for like 5 mins cause he had 3 dt's and i couldnt land anywhere. finally managed to mine a few minerals with mules on the gold patch and split up my 3 rax and built a tech lab and a reaper. micro'd it to kill his lone pylon by watching the blurry figures.

beat:

outmacroing the **** out of my opponent in a pvp, when it comes time to start churning out the colossi i noticed i was really low on minerals. turns out i had accidentally set my rally point to my gas and i had 17 drones in the queue to go into the assimilator :/

Finished all the campaign achievements... Including 576k in Lost Viking. I considered writing a macro to spam space-bar but I'm too lazy.. now my thumb hurts.

The worst is when I set the rally point to another scv, so it kinda looks like they are all mining minerals fine until you notice that they are all just following 1 scv.

I've been in platinum 1v1 for a few months now. Don't think I'm getting out anytime soon.

beat: I'm 13:1 in my last 1v1 matches mostly against highly ranked silver players but I seem to can't get out of bronze...

I think the game evaluates you every ~30 games or so. Just keep playing. It's even possible to lose a few games in a row and being promoted after a loss as long as you were winning before that.

it always takes longer than you feel it should. just keep plugging along.

my mouse is starting to get worn out too so it double clicks itself too. i'm frequently cursing my probes when i click one to go make a structure but happen to pull every single one off the mineral line
