This any good? My not-so-inner nerd is drawn to a game that sounds like a Donnie Yen movie. Also excited about a PC version that takes advantage of DX11 and has a hi-res texture pack. But reviews say the combat's a little easy and the camera is rubbish. Maybe it's better to wait for a bit until there's a patch.

Got the PC version, played about an hour and it's really fun so far. Combat isn't bad, it tries to be like Arkham City but isn't as fluid. It's still a lot of fun though. You can grab dudes and use the enviroment for some pretty awesome kills. If you get the PC version make sure you get the hi-res texture pack, the game looks amazing at max settings. Also use a controller because I've heard that keyboard and mouse controls aren't great. Easy buy in my opinion. I love open world games and so far I already like this more than SR3. With that said I also liked SR2 more than SR3.

I started playing the PS3 version yesterday and the camera can get pretty annoying while driving but other than that I really like it so far. I like the upgrade system and the environmental kills are awesome.

Controller. I hate playing driving/melee games with a kb/m and this has both of those.

Yeah it's an open world game. Very detailed world, as close to GTA 4 in terms of quality that I've seen.

I'm using a controller as I feel that 3rd person action games are easier to play with one. The analogue stick allows for better 360 degree movement.

This looks like a Saints Row/Shenmue kinda of mix.

I wonder why they don't set more games like this in Asia. Shenmue is the only game I can think of that was in Asia with Asian characters and it was the ****.

Yeah this game is confirmed awesome. Anyone beat it or know if there's new game plus or anything? I was 50% through the main story last time I looked and that was a while ago.

jumping on the bandwagon to say this is fantastic.

i hadnt even heard of this game before today so it was a really pleasant blindsiding. and even with only a few hours in, there is just sooo much to love; the combat (could go on and on about this but the depth in this type of game is drool inducing, as are the environmental kills. ive been literally pushed to giddy giggling from some of these), the music, the graphics... pretty complete package so far.

Game is fun, but it is pretty stupid/immersion breaking that you can run over and kill civilians with barely any consequence. You're meant to be a cop after all.

Got it yesterday and couldn't put it down for about 6 hours. Don't think I've this much fun with a game for a long time. Nice to have a change up between the normal gun play you find in similar sand box games.

yeah, it is amazing, and given that theyve already shown theyre going to nickle-and-dime with dlc (experience points and outfits you unlock in the game, really? who buys this crap?), im really surprised they didnt release a soundtrack alongside the game.
