I picked up a PS4 the other day and I'm glad I did. I used to play the 360 but I'm glad I jumped over to the PS4. The PS+ is way better than Xbox Live in my opinion. The graphics and gameplay are so much better on these next gen systems. Also there are a lot of free downloadable games off of the PS+ like Warframe and Resogun. Both of those are incredible.

Just my two cents.

so I have to buy a gaming console since I gave my 360 away, Im in between a ps3 and a ps4, I bought a ps4 when they first came oout but due to lack of games and some negative stuff i sold it on ebay.

Is it worthy to get it now? i can wait until january to buy it, i just want to know if they run ok now and if the games it has now are good, or if it would be better to wait a year to get the console?

been playing resogun a ton lately. trying to get to hero mode but it seems impossible. best i've done is 4th level on master. i have no idea how some of these guys can put up the scores they do.

Tried to buy a ps4 two days after Xmas and ~12 stores in my area were completely sold out.

Even Walmart said their warehouse won't have any for 2 weeks.
Where should I be looking online?

I would set up notification with any site that has it. Every time Amazon gets more in stock, they sell out in about 20 minutes. I'm only aware of them having had them back in stock a couple of times, though.

I signed up for alerts on Thanksgiving, got to order the next day (it ended up not showing up until the 11th I think, but still). That's probably your best bet. If possible you should make accounts on any site that you might be ordering it from in advance, just in case they sell out really quickly so you're not spending the extra minute or 2 to make an account.

I set up a text message alert with my local best buy. Talked to a few employees and they said they had no idea when they would be getting any in.

No clue why Sony would under produce for the holiday season. One of the salesmen at GameStop tried to sell me an xbox and I laughed and walked out.

What decent gamed are due for release in the next few months? Really on the fence of buying a ps4 but hate fps so most of the launch titles don't appeal to me.

Infamous: Second Son is the next big one. Theres probably others but they have vague release dates. I imagine most other games will be getting held off til later in the year. Watchdogs will be about 6 months away. I dont regret buying one now though as ive put a ton of hours into Assassins Creed 4 and Fifa 14 which are both easily the best to date of those franchises.

I really like about XB1 that it has Youtube app and you can control it through smartphone. Does PS4 have these features? If not, will it have?

Backwards comparability through streaming was a big selling point for me I'm pumped to see it come out so quickly.
