Why else would I have an email thanking me for my 3 month purchase? Read the terms. They will turn auto renew on after any purchase even if you previously had it turned off.

Here it is:
The Automatic Funding feature will be turned "ON" automatically every time you purchase a subscription. You can change this setting at any time in the way described below. However, a subsequent purchase of any subscription will automatically return the feature setting back to "ON".

purchasing a new subscription makes sense for them to auto renew, that seems the default standard. you made it sound like you bought a game and they turned auto renew for everything back on.

i understand where you coming from though, that is definitely dirty from PSN to turn ON everything for just 1 new subscription

Sorry if my first post on the subject was not clear. The only thing I purchased was the free 7 day trial to psplus. What annoys me the most is that I didn't get an email thanking me for using that trial until after it was auto renewed. That email contained the terms about auto renewal.

Not having separate auto renewals for each subscription service is confusing. How does one purchase a month of psplus and netflix on the same day and only have an auto renewal of one service?

I'm done ranting. Just wanted to warn some people. I'm still gonna buy the 1 year card. If I can get it for $22 plus the $18 for 3 months I've already paid for I'll be content.

anyone know of anyway i could get a psn subscription without having to put my CC through the ps4 itself? The card works fine on everything else, but im pretty sure they ask for your cc no matter what special card or trials you put in... sigh

pretty sure amazon sales begin at 3am EST, not 12am EST

i had problems with my cc signing up to ps3 and ps4. my debit card didn't work for ps3 but luckily it worked for ps4. a card definitely is required

Pre ordered late in the UK off Amazon, after Christmas delivery. Game site had some left and still available, but its expensive bundles. But at least free next day delivery
