I have been using incubators on 2km as well. I usually only use the infinity one, but with double candies I think that it is worth it for a few days.

Same. The possible chance of getting a decent 10k with double max candy is certainly worth burning some incubators.

I reached 200 bulbasaur candies, 200 charmander candies and 180 squirtle candies. All caught in the wild. Usually i transfer the low CP ones so for example i only keep the 400+.

Result is i have about 25 starters and 0 of them have >80% IV. Sucks and i'm yet to hatch a starter from an egg (level 25)

took sometime today to walk around and take advantage of the Halloween bonuses. Started with 2 ghastly, 1 cubone, and a krabby with 38 candies and ended up with a gengar, marowak, and kingdra. Now my buddy is my 38 candy staru, i grabbed another drowzee getting close to hypno, and even nabbed a mewoth or two. bonus stuff was great!

Finished my Muk today.

That's it for things I can evolve, I'm at 140 on the dex and now have to rely on the Pokemon Go deities to give me a Lapras and Aerodactyl egg or spawn.

I'm walking my Dratini for now to try to get another Dragonite, my only one has been in the same gym now for over a week and it's a level 10 in an out of the way spot, I'm pretty sure he's going to be there for quite a while.

Still planning to spend Halloween in DC trying for that elusive Lapras and taking advantage of the candy bonus. I only leveled to 27 last Monday, and I've already gotten 100K EP towards 28 with all the evolving I've been doing off the more frequent spawns and candy rates. Christ I think I've evolved 10 Persians in the last four days. I'm sort of getting sick of Meowths, but it is nice that when I hear the spawn noise, my immediate thought isn't "great another Rattatta," at least for another few days.

Instead it's "another Meowth or Cubone," but hey, a little variety makes a lot of difference in motivation to play the game. And after it took me so long to finish my first Gengar, the fact I'll have three strong ones when this is all done is funny to me.

Also is it just me or is there like no pokestops in Vegas outside the strip? Im running out of eggs when i want them so bad during the halloween period

Among other things, I struggle with knowing whether or not to use Ultra balls (0 Poke 0 Great Balls) when something like a 700 Gengar, Hypno or Marawak appear and I already have 5+ with greater CP. any advice on what you use to determine when to use Ultra when that's all you have left?

I only use ultralballs for things over like 1200 cp.... great + raspberry enought to catch others... depends on how valuable the pokemon is too u.

Well, in honor of the promotion, I went up to the SF waterfront and went HAM. Collected almost 1100 magikarp candy today only to put me at nearly 1400. Sufficient for my first dragonite. Caught my first gengar in the wild, although I'm also now over 250 gastly candy. Hatched a bunch of eggs, despite a hatching a couple cubones and a meowth. Finally got my first 10k egg during this promotion. Breakfast with no hog. Today was a good day.

Also, the latest migration put an omanyte nest pretty close to my house. Not sure about how to round out kabutos, but it's looking good for rounding out the dex. Lapras and Aerodactyl are my white whales.

I might even have it worse. I actually saw a fluke aerodactyl spawn at a local spawn point that I don't think has ever spawned anything more interesting than a growlithe. Wife caught it. Mine ran away after one hit. Now I get endless grief.

Got an Aero from a 10k yesterday. Now up to like 6 new entries from this event.
