So I know already that one of the challenges (Knowledge and Power) is stupidly out of reach :/

Also, from the patch notes - thornflesh is removed.

What was the problem with Thornflesh? I didn't get the danger. People in the comments are both confused and happy with the change.

It's no danger if you're totem, so I hadn't really seen it either, but I think at least one guildie has died from it.

In other news, my 3rd char is going to be vaal spark I think, with call of the brotherhood or three dragons on arc, a chill of corruption (maybe 2?) and 3-4 sacrificial harvest. I saw a headline for that kind of build on reddit, though I refuse to actually follow the specifics .

It seems pretty fun - include two mechanics that I've either never used (vaal skills) or are new (jewels, soul jewels to be precise).

Thornflesh was an unfair mechanic that just gave cheap deaths. You had to gear/build around them. Most of the crit builds weren't viable due to it. Now, they will be, again.

I don't know if I should be respecing some of the 2hander nodes and go for mace nodes (currently have a mace weapon), i just hate speccing into a specific weapon type and then finding a better weapon of a different type. I've got almost max resist (my lowest resist is 70%). DPS: $9.8k. 7k armour. Not sure what I should be doing differently, i feel under powered. Tried to be semi-tanky with medium dps. Any thoughts?
