Ok, I dunno why I thought of this but I need your collective help in indentifying this show that I remember watching as a kid. Its gotta be something like 15 years ago or so. Anyways, it aired on Nickelodeon (YTV for all you Canadians) and it had a format where theyd have 3 kids answering questions and then getting the oppurtunity to play video games to rack up their score.

I know that part aint helpful much but heres the part anybody that has seen the show would remember...at the end of the game, the winner would get the oppurtunity to enter the game chamber and play a final game for the grand prize where they were "in a video game". Something similar to the eye toy games we have now where theyd be on a blue screen or soemthing and move around to touch things that they saw on a monitor. Theyd have to avoid virtual stuff flying around too.

Anybody know the name of the show? Anybody know what Im talking about? JUST LET ME KNOW IM NOT ALONE!!!

Sounds like the one. I remember the hosts used to never look at the kids; always at the camera. Even when they won, they would look at the camera and say, "Congratulations! You're our winner blah blah blah."

I rememeber this show (not the name, although nick arcade sounds right)... I remember they would play these totally odd-ball arcade games that I'd never heard of and looked totally terrible. Then the scoring format of the show was completely jacked up as well, as like going from game-to-game the scores made no sense.

Definitely Nick Arcade. They play it on some channel late at night, but IMO it didn't age well at all.

lol that show is embarassing now, but back in the day was awesome (unless they played lame games that weren't interesting to watch).

Nicholas Pickolas would always read letters from people who asked for game tips - before email was heavily used by kids. So these poor bastards must have had their original nintendos paused for weeks while waiting for his responses.
