Still didn't open the Switch box or done anything with it. Last night we basically offered it to me brother in law for free and he wasn't interested. I guess it's just going back to Target.

It's either wait until May or go a route like this. I'm protected by eBay and PayPal for 30 days and most likely the pixel will show up right away. After 30 days knock on wood it should be in the clear. I know, risky but as a Poker player ya gotta take risks on occasion

But you can't dispute for a dead pixel, they are not a fault and are to be expected as per Nintendo. You would be the fraudulent one, unless the seller made a claim on their description they guaranteed it was dead pixel free.

Meh I guess ebay/paypal heavily favor the buyer so you'd probably be fine - but still. Let's hope it's a purely hypothetical thought anyway.

Is there any intel on how long Wii U VC will remain open? I need:

1) Earthbound Zero
2) Earthbound

...and obv don't want them to become unavailable and then never become available on Switch.

We will see. I already got a full refund through Walmart on my first one even with Nintendo's stance on it. Ebay is different but they and PayPal I believe will be ok for me to go either route on it. Honestly I kind of regretted returning the last one, but was just unsure if more would pop up with 1 showing so quickly. We shall see how this shakes out.

The Wii VC is still open, if that's anything to go by then Wii U should be safe for a while. I've never played an Earthbound game, should probably do it one day.

Ah, wasn't aware that was still open. I'd read about them closing many of the online services for the Wii, thought it was everything.

Just a heads up if you are in the military you can get your pro controller now from BX Exchange.

Also on Amazon there is one seller available for $70+$3.99 shipping but they only have 1 positive rating (OKBoomerSooner). There is another seller for $75.00 + $3.99 shipping PoschTJ. Buy at your own risk...just spreading the word.

Best buy on university in west des moines had some last Saturday. Not a lot but a few. May be worth a call
