trying to get better at online vs. play, can't seem to do it. anyone that wouldnt mind answering some questions over PM and going over some strategy would be greatly appreciated, I just don't understand lol

Never ventured over into the video games forum on this site, just wanted to say what's up to all you fellow NHL gamers. I play on the 360, versus and EASHL mostly. Actually won the EASHL championship the first year they introduced it in '09, got a paid trip to the EA Studios in Vancouver. Pretty sweet experience.

so what's the deal with EASHL mode, am i at a big disadvantage playing against people who play a lot and thus have tons of + stats to their shooting /hitting/goalie and therefore will get more goals/make more saves just based on attributes from playing? or am i pretty equal in that regard and skill can still help me? playing drop in games FWIW

This is what I've noticed a lot too with playing it. I was basically a full noob when I started so my grades got kinda meh to start so my stats are still low. So what I do is instead of trying to make fancy goals, I just beef up my passing on my wingers and just look for asst. pts. I use playmaker for that as well fwiw.

feel like im pretty good at EASHL now, and hating playing with people who try to play offense as defense or snap pick offense and have no idea how to score. if anyone is running any teams or even small groups please hit me up @ hitthepanda on ps3

This thread is pretty much dead but yes, me, hockeyav, nutshot and ss still all play so you should get it...just be prepared to play a little D-man depending on who's on.
