Probably. I'd much rather use bling, marathon, or SoH in lieu of that though. Would be cool to have the option of a kit with shotgun as the primary weapon for more ammo.

This. Is it confirmed anywhere whether or not you gain any bonuses from prestiging? Honestly I'm already at level 25 and haven't even finished the full 300 kills on one weapon let alone getting 40 kills using FMJ to get the extended mags. The closest I have is 260/300 with the RPD. Doubt I'm prestiging this time unless there's some sort of incentive.

FOV is field of view which is exactly what it sounds like, in COD4 and WaW the default was 65 degrees and you could go up to 80 degrees which gave you a wider FOV. 80 takes a little getting used to if you've always played with 65 because your gun/enemies look farther away/smaller due to the wider FOV

apparently you can't change it in MW2 but if you have 4 for PC open the console and type /cg_fov 80 to change it, there is a pretty big difference

Thermal scopes are awesome on sniper rifles. Played a few games with it today and there was a ton of times I saw a guy I would never have noticed without the thermal scope.
