So I'm about to prestige for the 3rd time, but the tactical nuke has eluded me so far. I've gotten a few killstreaks of 25+ without it equipped, but it seems like it's a lot tougher to get to 7 without the predator missile. I really don't enjoy camping all that much in objective based games either. Getting a nuke has been one of my goals from day 1, but I'm not sure it's worth pursuing anymore.

This is pretty much me. I tried hard for like 3 days but finally got sick of not getting it. I think its probably a combination of luck and being in a lobby of feebs tbh. fwiw after stopping trying I've had way more fun playing.

AVON, HOOSIERS, ROLLO, & WILDBOB it was fun playing with you guys tonight. some of those games we should have won, that demolition match on scrapyard with all those noob tubers was BS and very frustrating despite putting up good numbers.

i use commando and a usp tac knife as secondary. and def the c4 is where it's at for this setup. tac knife and commando so you can quick switch and knife anyone who gets too close. shield bash takes two hits, you won't always be in a position where you can get em without dying. the c4 is sick for clearing out rooms and you can detonate it behind your riot shield by double tapping the reload button.

when i was dicking around with my scavenger + dc + riot + c4 setup i was using akimbo magnums as my secondary because they have great stopping power @ close range and they take a very short time to switch to.

you need commando... it applies to the riot shield too, so you get greater range

AC-130 tip: This might have been mentioned before, but if you call the ac130 in and there's enemy air support up, don't waste the big gun or middle gun on them. Shoot both of those first and use the machine gun. I did this last night when I called one in and there was a chopper gunner and harrier in the air. One burst took them down while the big gun was reloading.


Also, equipping the stinger is pretty effective for domination and other gametypes where there will be lots of killstreaks. There are plenty of weapons laying around so that if I end up not needing it much I can swap it out for a random gun, and it's good to already have the stinger out when anything is coming inbound.

I do too. I should have mentioned that I've been using the LMG's a lot lately so I don't really need a secondary too much in those classes imo since I'm not trying to get into close quarters situations. And it's nice to not have to harry carry myself to get to the anti-air class. Having the stinger on all the time has made me a lot more vigilant in shooting down UAV's.

With LMG classes OMA is the best perk, unless your playing aggresively where SOH Pro would be better. The RPD takes 9.17s to reload. You can cut that to 3s with OMA Pro, plus replenish your equipment. You can also switch to your cold-blooded AA class and have a better chance at taking down air support.

I always use sleight of hand with the LMG's but I agree with your approach too. I don't think not having cold blooded is too big of a deal if I already have the stinger equipped, since I can very likely shoot down most things before they get to the map or in a position to kill me.

I had an awesome day of playing yesterday... Raped everything that walked in front of me... I played more FFA than I ever have and found some boosters : ) That was alot of fun killing them and waiting for them to return..

I won one FFA 30-12 and then missed 30 again by 1 and 2 kills respectively..

Also I seem to be blowing right thru this prestige, and finally got back cold blooded and my stinger... Saweeeet!!
