CoD looks better on my console (720p)

However, I can see a million times better on my computer (2.6ghz, 2gb ram, 256mb video card). I prefer gameplay over graphics.

lol, looks like you can't play certain maps now. There were tons of servers that were a certain map 24/7 or a small rotation of 2-4 maps. That won't be the case anymore... now you are forced to play the ****ty maps.

I'm a fan of using all weapons... but just like in CS, some people preferred playing in No-AWP servers. I didn't join those servers, but A LOT of people did.

I have an AMD 940 quadcore 3ghz. I just bought an ATI HD5850. This allows me to play at 1900x1200 with everything maxed out at 91fps. I have a 26 inch Acer screen which houses an S-IPS panel which both looks good but also has a very low input-lag (the time between giving the screen a signal, and until it moves).

Dedicated servers have been common practice on PC fps games since I can remember. Is there some reason I can't be disappointed by this decision?

For real tho I played cod4 on my brother's computer several times and hated it. I was prob a cpu newb but it was just crap. So frustrating and difficult to get a server and when I did they had all kinds of weird rules that I didn't even understand. "No dolphin diving" wtf is that?

One of the main reasons I like to play is all the players here on 2p2 that I play with all the time. The xbox for me is just flat out better for that reason alone.

having been a PC gamer exclusively for FPS I understand the PC side, I understand liking the precision of the KB mouse and options PC's offer. I also thought paying for xbox live was the stupidest thing ever. Well I'm here to you once you've place on xbox live you will probably never go back to anything else.

I've played on the PSN, Wii and xbox live is superior by some margin, I don't have to worry about cheaters, aim bots etc. Also playing on the PC I'd hunch over real close to the monitor to see if any sniper was hiding far away. You develop back and shoulder problems playing on the PC for extended times. Here I sit back on the couch and own souls.

My pc chair is a recliner with the monitor mounted on a swing arm.

IWNET won't stop cheaters, so you can't use that as an argument for getting rid of dedicated servers. Cheaters in the PC game are rarer than people think and easy to spot. However, removing admins means nobody can kick them. IWNET will just increase the cheating.

I just got kicked from backlot because of spawn-killing. It's that spot where you spawn in the garage and a guy always spawns to the left of you as well, and if you don't kill him, he will kill you.

That's how strict it can be.

I'm up to level 35 now and I haven't once seen a cheater or had a problem finding a server. Pings are usually 25-35ms.

As long as you don't keep saying the same **** over and over again to people who play on consoles ("LOL console players", "LOL keyboard and mouse pwn gamepad", "LOL console lag", etc etc). It gets pretty old and makes all the PC fanboys look like douches.

I would have got them if I didn't go for the 250GB hard drive Xbox version.

MW2 is rendered at 600p (10xx by 600, don't remember exact specs) and upscaled on 720 or 1080 hd tvs. it will run at 60 fps. i believe MW1 was also 600p but 30 fps, could be wrong about that though...with a nice PC and decent sized monitor you have the option of running it at higher resolutions, at 100+ fps along with some other options (anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering etc) that improve the look of the game

if your PC isn't so great/your hardware is a couple years old the game will look better on consoles, if you have a good gaming PC it will look and run better on that

this isn't directed at you LML but i have nothing against consoles, i put in a considerable amount of time on PS3/360 COD4 and enjoy it but when i'm not with friends i always play it on the PC because with my setup it is a higher quality product
