I'm getting energy sword killed more than ever from distances I didn't think were possible. Can anyone explain how to "lock on" from 15 yards away? Do you need the hipfire cross to be centered on the target? Whenever I try an energy sword lunge, my guy just quick swipes a ghost man and I get LOL shot. These ****ing spazzes warping halfway across the map are ridiculous. Earlier I was running up some stairs on Rundown, guy on the ground turns, sees me, gets melee lock-on, and then LOL warps up the ****ing stairs to knife me in the back. Hahahahaha I quit right after that.

Ive noticed alot of good players using the intervention....is there a reason its preferred over the other snipers that you unlock much later in the game?

TR: don't try this, it sucks, even with the riot shield on your back you're still slow as **** and the shield doesn't offer a ton of protection while you're sprinting

I hated sniping until I unlocked the WA2000, which I hooked up to an ACOG with Sleight of Hand pro for rapid sniping. Does the same damage as Intervention/Barret (except to body) plus my gun barrel doesn't jump into the air after each shot. Then again, I wouldn't consider myself a 'good' player, so I'm probably doing it wrong.

Also, what are people's favorite modes + stages? Right now, I am loving ground war in the terminal (either TDM or domination) - constant firefight but not quite as sloppy as scrapyard, where you are just spawning all over each other.

most likely just preference, I just started to use the intervention for challenges and there's nothing superior about it

like imolin said, any sniper that is not bolt action is not a real sniper rifle. sooo the purists (lol) and no scoper kids only use this rifle...

Yeah I'm off work at 3 today and I don't have work again til Monday and my roommate and his gf are going to Carmel all weekend. I forsee me not leaving my couch or changing whatever sweatpants i choose to wear this weekend. Want to play more demolition imo. And yeah, I only use the Intervention. Have used the Barrett, didn't like. Didn't like the WA2000 either, I used the M21 a few times and it seemed wayyyyy underpowered. Sniping someone in the chest and not killing them=

That is the setup that seems to be most popular for the nuke.

it has to be that or the harrier to ac130. actually pavelow might work but it would suck having to get 9 in a row to begin.

man everyone is getting smarter in this game, my harrier and chopper gunner are both getting shot down instantly now. Doesnt look like I'll be getting a nuke any time soon
