mutas do like no splash damage vs 3/3 marines, he needed to switch tech while he was harrassing

Idra lost the game when he kept commiting with his Mutas near the watchtower

that was just ****ing stupid

You don't send mutas in alone to deal with 3/3 marines + medivacs

Also MKP played super sloppy but that's why I loved this game
he basicly just went "ok, I'm not going to win this game before I get 3/3, but if I don't lose until then, I'm going to win"

No (?) reactors, floating the mins instead of throwing down turrets or more rax, didn't siege properly during most of the encounters.

damn, I guess 3/3 with excess medivacs is just that sick. Also, he needed more banes, piecing little attacks won't work.

He didn't even need to "switch tech" per se. He just needed less mutas and more ling/bane. Mutas are such trash in a straight-up fight, yet Idra continually decides for some reason that they actually aren't.

Edit: Even some basic target-firing on those final marines would have made a difference maybe. Medivacs don't work when you one-shot the marines.

How can you argue that Idra wasn't in the driver's seat that entire game until the end? There's a reason they're called "desperation attacks".

Idra was ahead but never super ahead. I think that's his point. In no way did Idra make a winning move or anything. MKP did.

me too

nevermind that he canceled the third and was on even bases with a terran outupgrading him by a lot, that he suicided 30+ lings to kill 5 scvs in the main, and that he made a HUGEEEEEEEE mistake that no good zerg does except idra that keeps doing the exact same thing (almost a replay of the last mlg).

ALso suicided 4-5 mutas into the 3rdMs turret +marines killing nothing

Idra wasn't dominating imo, he had map control for parts because MKP was upgrading and wasn't coming out anyway. I'm not even sure if he was ahead/too far ahead since MKP was able to delay that 3rd for a bit with a cancel and later harass. It was 3v3 for most of the game.

I don't get MKP's mistakes throughout (mind boggling really), but those were his actions.

everytime he won a big fight he followed it by losing units for no good reason

and I guess your definition of outplaying is being 3 base vs 3 base for the large majority of the game against a guy with FIVE better upgrades on units that hes the best in the world using

I think idra wouldve probably won if he backed at the end and make 6-7 banes.

But he deserved to lose making the same mistake he made so many times and that almost no other zerg does
