Play bridge instead. It's cheaper, more fun, and makes you better at pokhaz.

Yes. It makes Wild Nacatl and Kird Ape ridiculous.

Ah, so you quickly have very cheap 3/3 and 2/3's running around. Very nice.

Alright so I just bought this, trying to do some trades with bots, set it up trading x tickets for the cards I want, bot says please confirm trade, so I hit confirm trade at the top, then it basically just freezes until I time out of my trade. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Is there a free lo-fi proggie out there to play MTG over the computer with a friend?

You have to type "done" in the chat window also.

Yeah, there is a program called Apprentice. It is very small and made in like 1998 and it doesn't have card images and the rules aren't programmed so it's difficult to use if you don't know the cards very well.

There is also a program called Magic Workstation for $30 (cracked versions exist) and you can download card images for it, but development on it stopped in 2007 and it is difficult to set up and use.

I don't find those programs to be fun but they're alright for testing tournament decks with your friends that are too expensive or do not exist on MTGO. You can get into MTGO cheaply ($10) if you don't mind not having a competitive tournmanent deck. No programs compare to MTGO because they are not allowed to use the rulesets and card images (property of Wizards).

I used to use apprentice but I'd like card pictures

Well Magic Workstation is kind of like apprentice, but you can download pics for it (but its like 800 mb for all of the image files). It's supposed to cost $30 per license but they stopped updating it years ago and there's many cracked versions on the net. I prefer playing Classic on MTGO over T1 on Workstation though but its very expensive, but you can win prizes and it has a much better interface.

Does Apprentice have all the current cards and card text?

In my experience, MWS is pretty much better than Apprentice. It's weird when you first switch, but it gets easier in time.

Sort of. They don't distribute the files themselves, but you can find the expansion sets from other people.

Hi all, any thoughts on this 10E sealed build? It seemed clear to me that the black was excellent but I had a lot of trouble figuring out the best second (and splash?) color. Would appreciate any comments.

Trying to flesh out this white weenie deck. I am solid on Creatures at 1 and 2 mana, but I am seem to be unsure of what creatures to add at 3 and 4 Mana. Obviously if I want to add ones at 5 I have a few choices, but what are some good 3 and 4 casting cost White creatures for White Weenie?

Any other spells to consider besides Swords, Disenchant, New Crusade & Armageddon? Pacifism? Not doing Scroll Tax or Balance, Just looking for something fast, fun and efficient.

Also is Elspeth work using in a WW deck? How many Planeswalkers can you have in your deck anyway? Does the 4x rule still apply? Are they like legends can you only have one of each out?

Not sure what format you are talking about. Might help to post a current list. But you should definitely consider Spectral Procession in the 3cc slot.

Planeswalkers you can have 4x but they are like legends in that two of the same one can't be out at the same time.

You should check out Ajani Goldmane.

Legacy Format, but I'm not playing against any power houses with Power 9's or anything, just friends with old cards.

Spectral Procession is right up my alley though. I just need maybe one other good Legacy 3 Casting cost creature.

meh, bots sell it for 24, so you should be able to get 20 easy, 22 if you're willing to be patient

For white weenie deck maybe Paladin en Vec and Empyrial Armor (enchantment) for three drops. Maybe a couple of "Worship"s. I think the best four drop might be Masticore, but white weenie doesn't need four or five drops especially if you use Armageddons.

It looks like a well built and very strond deck to me. Did you T8 the sealed?

Yea, I thought En-Vec might get mentioned. Thanks for the help guys.

Oops I forgot Masticore isn't on MTGO. I wish it was. Razormane's Masticore is pretty cool though but it's a 5 drop. I also like Ranger of Eos.

Calciderm might be a good 4 drop, shrug.
