My brother introduced me to the mobile party game called Psych. Really fun and easy to setup (it's also free, though there is DLC that can be purchased). The gist of the game is a statement/question is presented and you have to give a fake answer. All of the players' answers plus the actual correct answer are listed and everyone has to choose which one they think is correct. You get points if you pick the right one or someone picks yours. It is possible to actually know the right answer, but it is very unlikely, hence the answers being "fake."
One cool thing is it doesn't involve a PC or TV screen, so you can play with people remotely. My family played in a game with my brother's girlfriend's family across the country. Obviously, it's more fun if everyone is together for the laughs, but it's not necessary.
Also, you can upload a profile pic and a "psych" face. The psych face appears (with a buzzer) on a player's phone if they pick your answer. It's actually pretty jarring, especially if you upload a goofy face. I used a pic of myself from The Walking Dead, which really freaked out the people who didn't know me.
EDIT: My kids and I also played a party game called Use Your Words at a gaming/comic convention. Really fun. It's the kind of game where you have to gather around a computer screen and use your phones as controllers.
