I only played it during the beta period, but it didn't do anything for me. I'll still be buying the game at some point (maybe now with this 50% off sale), but I really only care about the single-player. There are plenty of good multi-player games out there.

DOOM single player is tremendous fun, if anyone didn't buy it yet

Ya I think it's just the first 8 hours. I'm wondering if they will release an enhanced edition when they release for consoles, like in the first one. That was a huge improvement.

Anyone played The Saboteur from Pandemic in 2009? I'd not heard of it before seeing it in the GoG sale, looks interesting.

Bought the ultimate edition and feel like its more than worth it. Game is beautiful. Can play it on my xbox and laptop, saves transfer between the two. It's good ****

Yeah it's great. Might be a bit outdated now compared to modern open world games but back when it was released I really enjoyed it. I haven't played it in 5 or 6 years though.

Saboteur is one of my all-time faves of the open world genre.

Great atmosphere and a lot of stuff to do. Not sure how well it has aged as it's been years since I played it last, but it's one of those games that I will occasionally recall and think "I really should play that again one of these days".

It's... interesting. It never really commits to any of the subgenres it wants to be, but it's like C+/B- at all of them. It's came out during that period where open world games were shifting from GTA clones to Assassin's Creed clones.

The black and white/color thing was cool.

A stealth-oriented WW2 Just Cause, but not as good as that sounds. It's not as good as Pandemic's sadly underappreciated Mercenaries games. I'd buy it for $5, but $10 is a little too steep.

Mercenaries was great, definitely under appreciated. It was like if all the crazy stuff you wanted to do in GTA was actually the point of the game.

store and inventory won't load for me for some reason. tried deleting the local cache and relogging but it didn't help. Anyone else having issues?

I bought Bioshock seven years ago from Direct2Drive and recently submitted a ticket with 2K to get a Steam key so I can get the remastered version.

jfc, is it a pain in the ass.

- I submitted the ticket, explaining where I got the game, that it is a download not on a physical CD, and gave them my activation code, date and time stamp of purchase, and order number.

- Got an automated message back, saying they need a picture of the CD case, game CD, and a piece of paper with my e-mail address and ticket number on it.

- I replied, reiterating that it was a download, not a CD.

- They write back, asking for a screenshot of my e-mailed receipt with a piece of paper containing my e-mail address and ticket number.

- I send that

- They accept that, but "....since we have been flooded with requests for the BioShock keys, the escalation department is asking for one more item - could you please send us a screenshot of the Steam error message that you receive when trying to redeem the Direct2Drive key...."

- I send that

- Just got an e-mail back saying they now have everything they need, so NOW my case is being escalated. wtf


I feel like I'm being 419 Eatered.
