I've been hearing about a new space game that's coming out soon or just came out that's supposed to be awesome with a HUGE universe but I've never caught the name.
Looking for a game suggestion for a group of 4-6 PC gamers to migrate to. Not looking for FPS, MOBAs or MMOs which kind of narrows the scope. Something RPGish would probably take the cake and a decent online community to draw from as well. Doesn't have to be released yet, could be something down the road. Sorry if this is very vague.
Any thoughts? I suggested getting the hype train going for Divinity Original Sin 2.
I've played Grim Dawn a little bit and enjoy it, not sure if you all would like it but might be worth checking out.
I'm still in chapter 1 so I can't comment too much, but it feels like a complete game. The character builds are pretty complex, and I had a good time reading the forums to find one that suits me. Anyways it's a good diabloesque game, and I enjoy the dark post apocalyptic/fantasy setting quite a bit.
I have two friends who didn't wait for me to get the game (*******s) and are a pretty good ways into the game and they are loving it.
anyone playing galciv3?
It seems like a game i should love, but i just cant get into it. it seems like its just a matter of clicking buttons with no real feeling. i think i'm just looking forward to much to stellaris (EU4 in space) and cant get into this.
anyone have any tips, or settings, or whatever to get into this game more?
It's definitely not for everyone, but I just enjoyed thoroughly "The Beginner's Guide"
If you're into game design at all, or liked the Stanley Parable (it's done by the same guy), it might be worth a look. Or maybe you can find a playthrough on youtube where the let's player shuts the **** up for five seconds. It was 10 bucks, which I would say is overpriced for the amount of content relative to how other indie projects are priced, but I felt it was worth it because lol ten bucks doesn't mean much to me and experiencing something like it for myself means more to me than most people.
Maybe anyone else that has experience with it could chime in without some spoilers. I'm afraid to even describe what it is as I think just sitting down and jumping in is the best way to digest something like this.
BE WARNED. IT'S NOT REALLY A GAME AS MUCH AS A PLAYABLE NARRATIVE. With that said, I'd imagine most people here won't enjoy it, but if you have the desire to look into it at all after what I've said, I think you'll enjoy it quite a bit.
Interesting enough for me to watch through (and enjoy) on YouTube, but $10 for a ~30 minute non-game with absolutely no replayability seems pretty meh.
http://www.gog.com/game/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt -50% off for the first time, I think I'll pass since I'm still in the middle of finishing the books then planning to play the first two but it's a great prospect to be able to play it for 20€ so soon
terrible sale,zero hype.
lot of games are higher prices than before.
no flash sales means no reason to open the store more than once,no impulse buy etc...
RIP steam
