Leaderboards, achievements and the daily challenge are steamworks features and won't work on the gog version. Pretty sure people were warned about this.

Yeah it sucks, I learned a while ago with meat boy that if an indie game has leaderboards or something similar, it's going to be a steam only feature. Just doesn't make sense for them to spend the time setting up a user system when steam does it all for them.

damn this sucks badly.
bought it in the rogue legacy package and sots the pit.
definitely doesnt make me venture on non steam games anymore considering leaderboards and for this game the daily challenge are a big +.
I dont care much about achievements but these features are beyond just achievements.
oh well lesson learnt, not too expansive lesson D

I'll be honest with you, if you get good enough to where you're capable of putting in a competitive score on the daily you'll have already spent many hundreds of hours with the game and won't mind spending a few more dollars to get it on Steam. I bought a Vita because of Spelunky

I got the Sega Classics pack (all 5) a few years ago, and I am currently playing Shining Force and really enjoying it. I tried to play Vectorman, Streets of Rage, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, and Ecco and they were all pretty much unplayable even with a 360 controller. But Shining Force was awesome with it, and I can't wait to play part 2.

World of Goo is 90% off for another 3 hours, I've only played 40 minutes so far but it's definitely a bargain for a dollar.

I know pretty much nothing about racing games.

What's a good racing wheel and how much are they?

What are the best games to use said racing wheel for?

you should maybe specify a bit more what do you like. Do you want some fancy less realistic style with car tuning like Need for Speed series? Or maybe WRC like a'la old Colin McRae series? Or more like F1? Maybe some various cars on various tracks like Toca series?

If you want a good entry level wheel then pick up the logitech driving force gt. I've got one and it works on pretty much every racing game I've tried. Has force feedback on most games and some games support 900 degrees rotation. I originally got it for GT5 but ended up using it on Dirt 3 and Grid on PC more. I really like it.

Brothers is a solid buy at 70% off. Requires a controller, but you'll love the reason why.

Thanks that's very helpful. Looks like this stuff is not cheap. Not sure if I want to plunge into it, but it's nice to have a starting point.

As already said, Driving Force GT is the best non-**** wheel you can get.

Then G27 ( if you want a manual shift + clutch ) , and after that thrustmaster ts 500.

$150 > $250 > $500.

Games - Assetto Corsa - available on steam early access, otherwise google iracing for a hardcore pc sim, otherwise buy a ps3 for GT6 ( just released ) or an xboxone for forza ( but it only has 14 tracks zzz - also only supports the ts500 wheel lol ).
