My only beef with steam is the inability for me to let my kids play my steam games on their computer while I rock Battlefield or something on mine.

I of course understand the restriction, but "household" (only one concurrent IP at a time) accounts are definitely on my wish-list.

Play battlefield on your pc in online mode, set the other pc to offline mode and play games at the same time.

doesn't that work ?

I've never used offline mode.

That just might work for what I need.

They aren't going to be playing any online games until they're older. I don't need my 12 year old son learning how to call people "****ing nooblets" or something.

ffs. after all my purchase i'm spending just about 90% of my time in the one game i bought for less than a dollar: Everyday Genius (SquareLogic). Crazy addictive for anyone with an affection towards sudoko-like puzzles (totally different though, but still very much in the 'logical deduction-department). fml

ps. crysis is a distant second. sik game with the added slickness downloadpackage from incrysis.com

I didn't do any purchasing over the holidays and now I kinda regret it. but my computer is an old POS so I would really have just been purchasing to get a big library for the future. next sale season will probably empty my wallet.

Pretty much the opposite here.

beat king's bounty, played the expansion pack and it was total **** so quit.

almost off the first planet in KOTOR, got to Neverwinter in Neverwinter nights then realized I'd completely gimped my character by reading the wizard's stats when I'm a sorcerer, oops.

Man, I have such a low tolerance for bad games these days. I haven't played any game with a gameranking score of lower then 90 and enjoyed it.

Yeah, it's so much different from when I was a kid and maybe owned a few games, with no means outside birthdays, christmas, or saving all my allowance to aquire more. I was pretty much stuck playing what I had. We are pretty spoiled these days.

I think for me there is also this aspect that I could be playing poker at any time so it's hard to justify playing a game that I'm not really into. I just finished ME2 last month, and I could only think about how the game could have been the best of all time but instead was simply 'good' - but I realize it is a masterpiece among it's peers.

The way that the quests were set up was so disjointed. It felt like playing a bunch of levels in a video game rather than actually being on a journey to save the universe. If they can fix this for ME3 it should be a great ending to a great series.

And 25 hours is just not long enough for a fully fledged RPG storyline.

I went bananas when they had the holiday sale and bought all the indie packs, so now I have like 68 games in my Steam account, lol. And, OMG have you guys heard of this awesome game it's called BRAID?

No but seriously, I haven't even looked at half of the games I bought yet, but I like this game BIT.TRIP BEAT, it's like Breakout meets Audiosurf with dynamic difficulty switching (handy cos the levels are weirdly long, like 15 minutes).

during the holiday sales, I bought worms unloaded, beat hazard, air indie pack (altitude is a very gg), puzzlequest, and plants v zombies goty, and shatter. All of those were worth w/e I paid for it, less than 5. I also bought mafia 2 for 12 bucks. Neat story, but too much driving around, no gta.

I also bought killing floor for 7 bucks, but haven't played it yet. Also Bought Polynomial, but couldn't really get it to work/beat hazard was better. Does anyone know of any good pc games that sync with your own music and preferably somewhat trippy? Also compatible friendly with iTunes?
