I think you misunderstood

At 1pm EST the Flash Sale starts with Game A, Game B, Game C, and Game D on sale. A few minutes later I checked again and Game B was now Game E

they probably just switched to the wrong thing then. there've been a couple of changes shortly after the switchovers in the past. game B doesn't come back up; it's only 4 at a time.

So Origin has a feature Steam desperately needs and that's the ability to hide games. My game list is full of crap from bundles I'll never play.

Yeah that's not a bad idea. I have no categories set up at all so it will always be up the top but it's better than nothing.

Amazon.com prices are mostly better, but there are nice offers, like EU4 @ 15 US$ ( 22 on amazon )

what does it say upgrade to gold when I click on civ 5 (wanted to check new brave world price) when I already bought civ 5 gold?
on my library it just says civ5 but in my account details it says I got gold.

wrt what weevil said, I guess the hardcore details of the game (like, the rosetta stone thing) can be hit or miss - I thought it reminded me, in a really pleasant way, of the games we'd play as little kids before there was an internet where you had to take detailed notes and **** and figure stuff like that out on your own. I think Fez would have been absolutely perfect 20 years ago when we were finely attuned to solving those puzzles by ourselves or with friends (having no other option), before the interwebz and gamefaqs made us lazy.

the game has a learn spanish component? that would definitely be a miss.

This is pretty much what Phil Fish said was his goal in indie game the movie.
