I bought TF2 and the Hitman games. I have TF2 on the 360, but never really played it and I've also always heard that it's the inferior version. I've always liked the Hitman games so now I have a chance to play them again.

Looks like Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor are both internet required for single player play. That means both of those are a definite NO BUY from me no matter how cheap they are.

that was what i was thinking, hence the picture posted earlier.

also, Dogg, your response scares me When i make up a final tally somewhere these days i'll post it as well (in euros), but i'd be shocked if it would be more than 200E total. Given the amount of quality games purchased, i think that shows just how ridiculous cheap these sales are.

As an excuse for my extravagant behaviour (at least to my normally moderate standards) i'll provide you with the unnecessary info i've been going through a bit of rough patch in my private life. Somehow focusing very strongly on something completely irrelevant like the sales of each day felt somewhat deriving of personal matters. It worked as such, but im pretty fed up with it by now. Humans are a strange breed lol, or at least i am

There is a program floating around the tubes which calculates the value of your steam account.

I'm not sure if it factors in sales though.

--That should last you until the next sale though.

nice,

You own 76 games worth: 840.41€
If you bought all these games on sale it would have cost: 276.50€
You spend an average of 11.06€ (3.64€) per game.

honestly, i think thats a pretty cool number. I paid probably around 400 in total.

edit: to the above poster. It gave me 0 too, then i tried this one and it worked

You own 39 games worth: $719.68 USD
If you bought all these games on sale it would have cost: $294.69 USD
You spend an average of $18.45 USD ($7.56 USD) per game.

my steam library has 45 games in it so idk maybe it doesn't count some of the package deals (when i bought FEAR it came with 2 DLCs, same with Crysis)

anyone play divinity 2.. looks like it could be good, but have so many games now it wouldnt make sense to buy it at half off if its marginal and a cookie cutter rpg.

Only 8 games for $82 for me. I was dissapointed by the sale prices for the Total War games and RUSE, otherwise I would have picked those up. Games I picked up:

Borderlands (w/ DLC)
Dragon Age
Monkey Island 1 and 2
KOTOR
Op Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
ARMA II
Crysis Bundle

It's mostly because my game time is limited and I basically don't play anything that isn't Game of the Year quality. I don't really have tons of gaming time so I can't stand wasting it.

I picked up:

GTA4
Max Payne
Mirror's Edge
Half Life 2
Team Fortress 2
Portal
KOTOR
Company of Heroes

For me it's been:

Borderlands Claptrap DLC
Everyday Genius - SquareLogic (Hasn't been advertised I don't think but it's 85% off ($1.50 I think), sudoku like game)
FEAR 1
Misadventures of PA Winterbottom (Again not advertised but it is fiddy cents and has a 79 on metacritic, haven't tried it.)
Overlord Bundle
Recettear - The Item Shop
Spore
Titan Quest Bundle (Had the CD's somewhere, but steam is easier. :P)
Tropico 3

Actually thought I bought more so I'm proud of my restraint.

So far my favorite buys have been Recettear and Everyday Genius, Tropico 3 looks pretty promising though. If they do a re-sale today I'm hoping to pick up fallout 3 bundle and new vegas, should have got them first time around.
