Yes, if it's still in your inventory with the "sent to xxxx" tag, you may designate another receiver (and the original person will no longer have the option to claim the gift).

You can find it for cheaper from sites selling cd-keys, at least if you live outside US. The expansion is very good though, I have played more civ 5 with BNW than without it and I bought civ 5 right when it came out.

If you go the Cd-Key seller way, I suggest Kinguin, it's a CD Seller aggregate site where you have to leave feedback after every sale and confirm you recieved the key, so no scamming AFAIK. I also suggest buying a Key and not a Steam Gift.

I just got into the family sharing beta. Anyone else get in? I'm guessing a bunch of invites just went out.

edit: so am I reading it wrong or do you have to log into your account on someone else's PC in order to authorize them to use your games?

That seems to be the way things are working right now. I'm not sure if it's just a work-a-round because things are not working as intended, or if that's how they are trying to curb people sharing their accounts on internet forums and the like.

If you have the civ 5 you can buy all the DLC and the 1st expansion for 10€ (2.5€ during sales).
