Let's talk about Stream and buy mountains of games - Page 213 - Video Games

I've only purchased 1 steam game so far, but I'm a huge nit. Until I actually got a job and started buying my own games, I probably only purchased <10 games lifetime and I spent years playing them before finally quitting (Starcraft, Diablo 2, Counter-strike mostly). So now I have such high standards for "time I expect to spend playing" before I make a purchase. If I have any doubt that I wouldn't like a game or play it for an extended time, I won't buy it.

That is what happened to me too. Majority of my gaming in the past was those 3 games. Also a little bit of WoW (when it first came out), and EVE Online. Basically ruined gaming for myself since game quality doesn't seem to have as much importance these days... that or my bar is just set unreasonably high.

For embedding youtube videos it is the string of letters after the "watch?v=" that you want. In this case the: UiJ-lnlU4rg

Max Payne 3 was bad imo. Played it on xbox fwiw.

Max Payne 3 was awesome. Went into it expecting to be unimpressed by the slow-mo bullet time mechanics and it turned out to be brilliantly executed. The graphics are also among the best I've seen around, and the story is very well done. Almost like a movie at times, and I actually cared about a few of the characters.

Def a snap-buy if you haven't bought it already.

I don't even think I played the first two, but they do have great reviews. Max Payne 3 isn't far behind in that respect, and I imagine the user reviews would be better if people focused on the game rather than the DRM. You'd be silly to pass on the third installment if you liked the first two, but it's your money I suppose.

First Max Payne was revolutionary when it was first released. Amazing game. Does not hold up well playing through it today, unfortunately.

For the most part they're skippable if you don't care about the story. If you do, then you're missing out on a ton by doing so. Without a doubt one of the best stories woven into a game I can remember in a long time.
