I'm largely in the same boat, except I want Arma 2. I'm sure if it hadn't become so popular because of the DayZ mod it would have gone on sale 15x by now. (Of course then I wouldn't want it.)

Yea if it doesn't go on sale, I will never buy it.

Also instead of the indie bundle I see: game not available in your region. Makes sense.

They obviously don't need to put it as a daily deal as it's constantly been in the top 5 sellers all sale. It still might, although the most I see it going to is 40%. Steam are even advertising the Day Z mod in the description.

We need -50% Lego pack or something. I would buy the **** out of that. Todays deals are pretty boring! Most have been on a deal already, only ones that catch my attention are Amnesia and Demolition inc., think I'll pass on them though.

YEah before the sale started I wanted Arma 2 (it can go **** itself) and the lego games to get a discount. A lego bundle at 75% off would be nice.

I'd buy Lego Batman 2 if it went down a decent amount. I got the first one free with my 360 and I was really surprised with how fun it was.

Also I'd be really surprised if Steam got back to you before the end of the Sale.

That's the first I've heard of it, so please, mention away.

These days I'm so out of the loop on gaming, if Steam doesn't try and sell it to me, I probably don't know it exists.

Also, they typically give you steam keys with the games so there's really no reason not to go for them.

http://indiebundles.tumblr.com/ here's a tumblr that updates you on new bundles.

Sweet, thanks.

This steam sale has me on total overload. For example I'd love to buy the telltale games pack (I lurves me some point'n'clicks), but it's $50, and I already have way, way more gaming content than I'll probably ever actually get to.... that's how it goes I guess when you get 20+ new games and have an average of five hours or less a week to do any gaming.

If it's the same problem I had, you just need to append "?cc=us" to the store url like so: http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=us (If you're not from the US, the "us" part would be something else.) From there just add whatever to your cart and checkout like normal.

I got so excited when I saw your message, then I started trying and it didn't work, when I typed actually my country of origin instead (so ?cc=pl) I got so ****ing pumped because it went through one step further. After accepting the terms and hitting buy button there was another error... sigh. Neither credit card works nor paypal.

As much as it sucks, don't get your hopes up on support getting back to you before the sale's up. They usually take about a week to get back to you when there's not a sale on. This and christmas is their busiest time of the year.

If you're able to get to cashout you could try this:

I ran into the same problem recently. After a bit of thinking, I entered the address of the hotel I'm currently staying at instead of the billing address, and it worked. I think that's because my bank doesn't verify the billing address, only CVV code. It feels like a bit of cheating, but hey, it's not my fault that this problem exists in the first place.
or this:

I've solved the problem! What I did was: I put in my actual address (street name, city, province, zip code), but I changed the country to the one that I was actually in. It just went through somehow. Silly wabbits.

It's not exactly the way Steam wants you to do it (they want you to write them to unlock your home store) but it seemed to work for these guys.
