Not able to play the game? GTA Online wasn't even announced until Aug. 15th. Which is probably long after most people had pre-ordered GTA 5 based on its single player alone (which still works flawlessly...).

We're not talking about a game you have to be online to play here - we're talking about a game where the developers threw in an (if rumours are to be believed) incredibly awesome online mode that they could've easily charged extra for, into an already best-selling GOTY single player experience for free.

And it's a free online mode that they announced beforehand would have initial issues.

Anybody pulling a "I'm entitled to rage about this" over this one is a ****ing crybaby and needs to STFU and visit the real world.

You're acting like people are talking about burning R* to the ground or something when all they are doing is relaying their experience. I'm not going to go back and check the last few pages, but I don't recall any ridiculous overreactions.

Anyway, I'm done talking about it. Enjoy your conversation about the singleplayer which everybody else is already done with.

Well I just spent about 2 hours doing the 9K 2 min mission over and over before the patch and I have over 400k. I've had no issues with online so far.

I was able to do for about 45 minutes it with one other guy who was really fast. We made about 100k. Invitations stopped working after we did it the first time, though, so we could never add more players to do it faster.

Yeah I didn't even know about it. Me and a friend were just messing around in free roam when I accidentally invited everyone on my friends list to the game. Some random guy joined, told us about it and had a really quick way of doing it. Each mission was only 3 mins. Only been playing online for a few hours and already have almost half a million. It's a cheap way to do it but I'll take it.

damn im just learning how to play. i think ive spent most of the time searching for atm's because im afraid to get merked and have all my cash taken.

the first mission i did with timmay and someone else was funny because i didnt have any ammo so i had follow someone around the back way and then jump in the car with them to evade the cops as we returned them to simeon.

this is so fun. cant wait until we get like 10+ people going and do some actual missions.

This is the part of the game that's going to be amazing. As people gain access to better weapons, things like airstrikes, making yourself invisible on the map, etc. the whole game will continue to change.

Right after I got access to a sniper rifle, I did a mission with some lower level players. The guy in my car started bitching at me for parking too far from the drug deal. Before he could even finish, I had shot four or five guys and he just said, "Oh, I see."

I just learned today that you don't need to bother with ATMs. You can deposit right through the Maze Bank website on your phone. I'm not sure why they put that in there when they made such a big deal about pointing out the need to make it to ATMs without getting killed. Maybe it's an oversight?

eff you heater! played for roughly 3 hours and 1.5 of that was spent searching out atm's. thanks tho, thats critical information.

are there some 8-man missions that we can get going tonight? i just want to earn rp's and level up so i can get better guns. stuck with a mini uzi or w/e right now.

eta: can everyone on ps3 share their handles so i know who im playing with? mine is mikeymyke. i know i played with timmayb, but not sure who the other fellar was. he had a yellow car at one point and we were spazzing out.

Negative. I'm only 42% complete. I'm playing at a good, casual pace. So far I have no interest in the online portion, which is ok because I am avoiding all of that problems everyone is having.

Lol at what happens when you get labelled a bad sport, along with being restricted to bad sport servers for a couple days, which isn't so lol imo
