People actually bid on it before the last minute for at least 2 important reasons. To save it on the AH tab (so 100g minimum bid is actually good because it allows more people to save it and not forget about it) or that they won't be on when the auction ends so they bid as much as they are willing to pay for it.

As long as 2 people really want the item, you should get a fair price for it. With the sheer number of people, that number is likely hundreds if not thousands.

How do you guys think I should price this. It is tricky cause I don't think GF sells particularly well on the rmah and it is kind of a goofy combo of stats. 30 mil? more? Should I take a shot on the rmah?

My 1h which I am still using is easily a 40-60m weapon: was a buyout for 1.9m and it wasn't even that much a bargain then.

My Source that would cost about 25m to upgrade: 750k buyout.

Amulet that needs about 30-40m to upgrade: 500k buyout.

and this is all in the space of less than a month. By my reckoning gold has inflated by a factor of 20-30 or so since early June. Not sure anyone would have predicted that much.

Any thoughts on what this is worth? Pretty rare combo of stuff, but I think I may have listed it too high.

people also didnt know what were worth a lot back then, some types of weapon have risen a ton in gold but plain weapons without good stats havent inflated that much

Anybody have good experiences putting stuff up for $1/no buyout on the RMAH? Only common items? Only elite items? Both? Neither? I think I'm too paranoid...

so I just placed a bid for about half my liquid bankroll, which is big bones for me, so I figured I'd come here for a PC on these gloves I bid on:

121 vit
47 all res
6% IAS
32% crit hit dmg

and I bid 5mil. ias and crit dmg are semi-low, but dex seems insane, and vit is a pretty high roll too. thoughts?

well people a days ago didnt know much too.
the market has gone crazy the last week and the patch really changed a lot of things.
the game already has changed multiple times and I guess its gonna happen again and again every patch.
in a sense this is the only way right now they can keep the game interesting till bigger changes(pvp).
I think Im done with softcore for now,I dont care about money and I dont care about improving my items now,so Im gonna focus on hardcore(also playing less but after 300h its normal to slow down ).

Those gloves look very similar to something I crafted when gloves were going nuts. I sold that one for 25 mil...account for inflation and it might go up a little more.

Is increased attack speed on weapons bonus or drawback? At least as witch doctor I'd rather just have flat damage as my mana pool allows me only 7-8 attack anyways.

For melee classes it's awesome because they (>95% of builds) don't use their resource pools for damage/attacking, and life on hit benefits from attack speed. For 1M (EU) you can currently get ~750 dps dagger with IAS (~1.6 AS) and socket, or socketed 880 dps spear (1.2 AS) without IAS. Attack speed = $$$

For DH and Wiz it's decent but not that necessary. WD is the only class with such severe resource problems that slower = better.

attack speed is usually good for everyone except bear WDs

Who plays WD without bears? Seriously, without bears it's like DH with much lower damage and cooldown on breakable smokescreen (spirit walk). DH makes ~250% dmg with a skill which is GENERATING resources (devouring arrow ldo), WD shoots 3*60% dmg with a skill that actually slightly drains resources.

DH also has different resource pool for safety/survivability skills, so they can spam all their hatred and not worry about saving it for anything defensive.

Should I set the buy out at 8 mil? The other is set at 25 mil and that's a little rediculos

The minimum damage and all the different things going on are making it tough for me to effectively price between 20 and 80 mil.

I'll sell to a 2+2er for 5mil less than whatever the real value is, if anyone's in need.

Interested in it for regearing my wiz. I'll do some research, check back in a few minutes. Min damage is nice and it makes up for low crit dmg, so in a way the minimum damage can be make the crit dmg close to 32-34% if you want to look at it that way. Although 32 crit dmg would be better since chance and dmg benefit from one another. So it would be slightly less valued than a 32 crit dmg ring.

Edit: Found 2 that were similar to yours, but it looks like they might not sell at 80m and 200m (both had crit chance of 30% or higher and 20 more int). So I think the highest you'd probably get for it is around 80m, but it's hard to say because the 80m isn't the selling price, so it could be a much lower than that.
