I got this game the other day hadn't played since FIFA 13. Most realistic soccer game ever, been doing pretty well but the game is boring and dumb probably going to look into PES since it's supposedly better now. Unless there is a huge mismatch most matches are decided by cheap/random goals caused by poor game controls, takeaways at the back and the occasional outright glitch. I thought I sucked, but I get way more than I concede from this stuff which is no fun at all either way. The other annoying thing is, player stats are way way more important now, which makes having better players more important...just what EA wants I guess.

The shooting is still terrible and hilarious, I can't believe they never balanced the whole "if you hold down the shot button 1-2 frames too long it hits the bar every time 1-2 frames too short easy save" methodology.

I think if they just copied FIFA 13 with the nerfed pace (the only good change) it would be 1000x times more fun than this.

Bought two yesterday, opened two freebies today, best player was Diego Alves... No one worth >5k from 140k worth of packs as usual.

Just got the game for christmas, have a few K coins built up from buying those coin bonuses with the points. Whats a good nation/league for making good starter teams? Most years I go with brazil, but wasnt sure if things are different this year?

My only real complaint about the game is that the computer is too tough. They pick off every non perfect pass from professional on. On world class and beyond, you have to literally just stand there and if you move, they get a goal.

game is wayyy better with the new update. i just completely stopped playing it before bc of the awful awful passing and insane defensive interceptions, i guess as well as just miserable player runs/balls.

also still need to play on xbox heh.

Give PES a shot. It's better for sure. First time in a while that I didn't even buy FIFA despite being a fan of MLS/Canadian national team.

Biggest problem with these games is there is way too much computer assistance with passing/shooting. We won't get a realistic game until full manual controls are the only option. Unfortunately that's never gonna happen.

For those in the UK in the PS Store the Super Deluxe version is on sale for 34.99 pounds. With the download of FIFA 16 comes 8k FIFA Points.

I am in the US but was still able to get it by creating a UK PSN account. I will open the packs during TOTY and transfer the coins back to my main account. Already sold my disc version of FIFA on ebay for $40. So it was basically $11 (34.99 pounds=$51) for 8,000 FIFA Points (Normally $80). Good deal IMO.

12000 FIFA points and bought 100k packs

sigh was waiting for forwards release and saving my 2 packs a week/points/coins to drop on toty and just missed it by a couple hours. nice catches kkc, pretty jealous. 30k player prob my best drop this year.

that weird. there been some problems with the servers in the last week but nothing in the last few days.

did you try hard resetting your XBox?

i wasnt able to find a match last night either. must have been messed up servers or something. gonna try again now.

I know people are gonna complain every time they patch the game and change gameplay but I hadn't played in a little bit and man this new one is painful. Players just absolutely flying around the pitch now so pace whores gotta be loving this.

What's the tldr on 16'?? Didn't end up getting it due to them getting rid of coin selling and therefore any chance of playing with messi/Ronaldo etc.. And EA being greedy c's

- Gameplay slightly worse than 15, but better than the rest
- FUT market is great, Messi and Ronaldo both 400-500k
- Very hard to trade compared to last year
- Expanded the TOTW, 4 more spots every week iirc
- EA keep releasing undeserved special cards
- EA cba to improve any other game mode
