only since Thursday, i'd pretty much given up on UT for the last few months after going from 1mil to 500k trying inform trading for the 1st time right before price ranges.

2 things before i explain what i did. i traded mainly with Aguero and Hazard b/ their normal cards weren't in packs, so stable-ish prices. also i did it while playing poker. if i tried to do even 1/4 the volume without a distraction i would have bored myself to death.

i searched for the lowest BIN where there was at least a page, but none older than 40 minutes or so to find the price at which the cards would sell quickly. i multiplied that by .95 for the break even price, subtracted 1500 profit and bought all the cards at or below that number.

cards with hunter on them are different (usually 1-3k higher) so i did the same steps searching for only those. there aren't auto-buyers anymore, so for every 5 cards i bought for <2k profit i'd find one that would net 4-8k.

it didn't seem like i found many drastically mispriced cards the first night so i didn't plan to keep going. i checked the next day after all the cards sold overnight and my balance went from 460k to 500k without playing a single game. i was up to 840k yesterday when i bought those team.

i was so happy when i read this until then i realized they lowered Messi's price.

i haven't seen a single NIF Messi go for less than 500k in the last 2 days and I've looked at a ****load. in my transfer targets (presumably right before they changed his price) he sold for 550, 550, 548, 520, 509.

i get that numbers are hard, but they're not that hard. there's not a single Messi of any kind on the market right now.

I did see a few go through at ~480, but not enough that would make a 500 max necessary, or even feasible!

TOTS aguero is coming down nicely.. low 700s at the moment...

Have been trialing something along the lines of your method, on a smaller scale to start.. Due to ppls laziness most ppl put players up at their max BIN, which means there aren't actually that many on the market with a realistic BIN. I have been buying popular bpl players with mass bidding at their going rate 1100 coins for example, then putting them up for 2000..normally sell in first 20mins.

Need to start doing it with more expensive players for it to be worth the time tho

when they lowered Messi's max there were cards sitting for a while for <500 BIN. i decided to pass on 485 and ended up buying him at 535 a day later. the range was working though, which is obviously a great reason to lower it.

the main reason to target 30k-100k cards is the chance to pick off a drastically mispriced card for 5k+ profit. i was about to stop searching Robben earlier b/ he was so close to the max when a card for 75k popped up. as you go more expensive the spread get larger though. there an Ibra that's 4k less than the other lowest BINs but isn't profitable to buy.

i'd definitely like to do something like that, i just don't want to get stuck with a special card that has 0 chance of selling. any ideas how to solve that problem? i'll think about it too.




this is by far the best back 4 at defending counters i've used. my next team i'm building around IF Alaba at CB and TOTS/Y David Luiz-87 and 85 pace. the game is so much more fun when random lb-Ys aren't effective

The one you pick for yourself can be any price. The 2 we pick for each other we can just use special cards that have Min price the same as their Quicksell (or just sells for min). Like the MOTM Aleix I bought (for 55k) to play you is now at 10k min and sells for like 11k. There's loads of garbage IF/Purple/Blues from random leagues just now that are like that, should have plenty to choose from.

I lost loads of coins makin that last team then not playing till yesterday. So i basically can afford Larsson and then 2 random 10k players for my specials, if i want to still build a team
