lol i have 6 players on my team with 90+ long shot and ~90+ shot power, yet this little Simao guy with 79 long shot and 78 power nails them in like it's no big deal

Whats your technique for long range shots?

coming at angle is a big plus - tougher to hit them when standing in the middle. so, my wings hit a lot more in than than my CMs, though i try a lot (with hardly any success) with the CMs since i have some beasts like IF Hernanes with 99 long shot, 98 power.

sprinting is important. need to get a good stride going, which can be tough since players will move in to block quickly.

not overpowering the power bar because it elevates kick too much. so, like 3 to 4 bars depending on where you are on the pitch. powering up requires practice to get a feel for it.

some people say they hold one of the L buttons but that never works for me.

i'd say it's 70% technique, 30% prayer

yeah. practice in arena and just try a bunch in game to get the feel. the feel is the key i swear

after my post i played a game and hit a long shot with Lucio of all people (like 78 long shot and power). and with his weak foot too. but i got a good sprint.

Havent lost since i started playing this (EA servers dc'd me in my last game 0-0 in extra time 9 wins beforehand though) and i was losing so much before but trying this it's just so fluid and works a treat. I'm averaging over my last 10 games 17 shots on goal and 10 on target.

have experimented with walcott up top as well and def seems like a viable option

wilshere and cesc on the wing????? and rvp as left striker doesnt make sense to me tho

Wilshere is mega strong and can get in decent crosses same with Cesc nowhere else for them really.

Whats wrong with RVP?

he is way more effective as right striker pulling in on his left(like robben/messi)
wilshere and cesc seem too slow to be effective wingers

Tbh i dont really like RVP i normally use him as a crosser of the ball i tend to push him out wide and use his left foot for crossing. Hes also a beast at corners and free kicks.

the 3-4-1-2 works very, very well with arsenal(i put in diaby instead of song tho)
so many passing options

have to dominate the game with a lot of neat 1 touch passing tho, defense would be too shaky otherwise i think

Not played in months, but "high pressure" is very useful for dpad options.
