Latest Fifa 08 update today has brought the Be a Pro feature (great offline imo) now into online. ZOMG its awesome, 2 teams of up to 5 players each, real quality fun.

Couldn't see this posted anywhere else - and sorry if it is old news in US, but in UK this is new from today's (i think) update.

so is this like the mode where you play as one player the whole time? can you communicate with your teammates?

Funny. I was MOM in my second match as well with Gilardino.

There's one thing that frustrates the hell out of me and its how the majority of players play this game. They'll have open space to the goal yet they head for the wing to cross it in EVERYTIME. STOP DOING THAT!

Yeah....I'm getting people who drop the ball when they have it as goalie and kick it in their own goal and [censored]....it's infuriating.

ugh, we just lost 3-2. I had a perfect corner kick assist and then scored a goal off a corner. I think I blew a chance for us to tie at the end though, going for a header (went over obv) when I probably could have just let it hit my chest and go in.

BTW how do you change your team as the captain? I couldnt figure it out and eventually just gave up captain to someone else.

Worst people on Be a Pro?:
1. The people who try and dribble around like they're Diego ****ing Maradona...and lose poss.
2. Goalies who drop the ball on the ground and dribble.
3. Anyone who plays as 'any.'
4. Those who think that free kick = shot...from any-****ing-where.
5. "Look, I can do stepovers!" (possible extension of #1)
